Chapter 1

Josh POV

“What do you mean you’re breaking up with me?” I asked her.

“Is exactly as you heard it. I Cassie dump you Josh.” She said without any feelings at all.

“What? Why would you do this? We had been dating for 3 years. And now you are dumping me without hesitation. I loved you.” I yelled at her already crying the one girl that I was in love with dumps me Josh Wakefield.

“Well I never did love you and never will I. I only use you to get the quarterback and now I know I am going to be prom queen in a blink of an eye.” She said smirking at me.

“You used me?” I sounded shocked by that.

“Oh gods Josh how many time do I have to tell you I never liked you stop crying. That’s one of the reasons why I dumped you. You’re so annoying and clingy that it makes me sick. Even though you are a man your nothing but a dumbass to not see that your being used.” She said at loud. “Well I am done here. Bye Josh.”

I stood there already crying and angry at her but even though she did all those things I can’t seem to hate her. Do to the fact that I am already in love with her. As I stood there watching her walk away and into the arms of none other than Tyler the football quarterback. I and Tyler were the most popular boys at school.

“Hey bro. So how did it go? Did she say yes? Come on bro tell me.” Chris asked pushing me into the pole.

“Not good bro she dumped me.” I told him looking down.

“What she dumped you? Isn’t it supposed to be guys that dump the girl not the girls dump the guys?” he asked.

“Well I don’t know bro she dumped me.” I stood there sulking. “And now I don’t know if I want to ask another girl to prom.”

“Come on dude just take a girl. Choose one and well go to prom dude. Danny, me and Fred already have dates.” He said “and we don’t want you to be dateless bro.”

“You’re Right that would be embarrassing. Though I am not going to ask a girl who likes me cause I already got a girl in mind.” I told him.

“Already and sure bro. So what is the girl you have in mind of asking?” He asked.

“I am going to asked Lacy Adams to prom.” I told him.

“WHAT LACY ADAMS? ARE YOU NUTS SHE HATES YOU AND SHE IS TOO NERDY, why her?” he asked me.

“Cause she is the only one that hates my guts. And won’t fall in love with me.” I told him. “And she is perfect to ask since me and her have no strings attached and besides she should be lucky to have a guy like me ask a girl like her to prom.”

“You got a point there bro. But still, why her? And in some ways she seems to be hiding something.” Chris said.

“Yeah you're right. She does have a secret.” I said but then Fred comes out of nowhere with the Vogue Magazine.

“Damn Kylie Andrews is so hot. I wish I could take her to prom.” Fred said.

“I agree with you on that one bro she is so hot.” All of us said.

            They were talking about this hot model Kylie Andrews I was staring at Lacy trying to figure out how is I going to ask her to prom. Though Kylie Andrews had been famous around us dudes though we never heard about her life was mysterious. But then I must keep my head in the game. Lacy is my date to prom and nothing is going to stop me. I want to see Cassie’s jealous face once more. Lacy prepare yourself for you are about to be my prom date.

Kylie’s POV

In truth I pretended to be Lacy so no one would know me and especially the boys since they are already in love me.  I had been modeling for since middle school and now I am here trying to get by high school. The only person who knows my real name and the fact that I model is my best friend Todd Juggernaut. All I know is that Todd was rank 10 for the cutest guys in school and that really made me happy. For Todd had wavy black hair, dark blue eyes, Tan and a sweet smile.

“Kylie, are you listening?” Todd was saying while waving his hands in the air.

“What?” I asked puzzled.

“I was asking you what you did for math.”He asked me.

“You're going to learn about the logarithms.” I told him “though it’s a pain in the ass but its learning right.”

“You got that right learning and learning helps your brains somehow.” He said.

As he was laughing I felt a hand on my shoulder I looked up to find Josh Wakefield looking at me.

“Lacy, can I talk to you alone for a sec?” he asked me.

“Um…why?” I asked him.

“It's something important.”  He told me.

“Ok, but make it quick.” I said to him.

We walk to the fountain in our school usually the fountain is for lovers.

“Can you be my date for prom?” he said to me.

“What?” I was surprised that he asked me to prom. I thought he would ask his girlfriend Cassie.

“You heard me I want to go to prom with you.” He said.

“Why me?  I thought you’re going to asked your girlfriend or at least a really pretty girl but why me of all people.” I said.

“Um…about that my girlfriend dumped for Tyler Gregstone. And if I asked a girl who likes me and I don’t like them back that would be bad. So I asked you since you of all people already hated me in the first place.” He told me. In truth yes I already hated him from day one since we were neighbors lucky thing he never caught me going in out with different people.

“Whoa that’s too sad. But I don’t know if I want to go to the prom it’s too much of a hassle.” I told him.

“Please just go with me. My friends don’t want me to go alone just please go.” He was already at his knees begging me.

“Fine I’ll go on one condition.” I told him.

“Yay, so what’s the condition?” he asked me.

“Do not fall in love with me, please.” I said to him.

“That won’t be a problem. But I am going to have to change your style though.” He said.

“Good. You better hold to your word….Wait did you just said change my style?” I asked him.

“Yes I said I was going to change your style.” He said.

After he said now I am getting the feeling I shouldn’t have done this, if he ever finds out that I am Kylie Andrews and that Lacy Adams was just a fake name than that would be trouble for my normal teenage life.

“So we have a deal?” he said holding his hand out to me.

“yes we have a deal.” I said still scared that he might find out that I am a lie not a very good girl.
