Together (TodoDeku)

Chapter 17

The first two houses were a bit of a bust.

One had a flooded basement, the other was by a school. I like kids but, dang that was noisy. 

Now Momo was leading us into the forest. I could tell Izuku was already liking this house because of the scenery. 

She then showed us a small cobblestone cabin. We go in and luckily there was no flooding. Izuku starts running around the house looking around. I just stayed by the door with Momo.

"Aren't you going to look?" she asks.

"If Izuku likes it then I probably will." I tell her. The door opened into the small kitchen with the dining room on the other side. The wooden furniture was very beautiful. After a few minutes Izuku ran back to us.

"I love it!" Izuku yells. I turn to Momo.

"We'll get it." I tell her. She nods.

"I'll leave you two here, we'll have someone bring you your stuff." Momo said. 

"Bye! Thank you so much!" Izuku said waving to her as she left. Izuku then grabbed my wrist.

"Come look at one of the bedrooms!" he says as he leads me up stairs, "I think we should stay in this one since it's bigger." 

Izuku showed me a large room with a giant bed. There was a dresser and a closet. There was also a large bay window. 

"Look!" he yells leading me to the bay window. I look and see a large field. It was like our home was on the border between trees and the field. We couldn't see any other house. 

"It's amazing." I turn to Izuku he smiled widely at me. He grabs my hand and leads me back down stairs. He then brings me outside and runs into the field. He sits down in the middle of the grass. I sit down next to him. 

Izuku then turns his head up to the sky. Izuku lets out a giant breath. I stare at him. 

How was Izuku so cute? His hair was being blown slightly by the wind. His bright eyes were staring up. The sun shined down on him perfectly. Him being in the sun constantly with me made even more freckles appear on him. Especially his face. 

After a minute he looked back at me. 

"What?" he asked smiling slightly. I shake my head.

"Nothing." 

Izuku then moved closer to me and gave my cheek a kiss. I turn to him he smiled at me. I couldn't help but smile back. He then laid down and put his head on my thigh for a cushion. He then just stared up. 

I look up, there were a few clouds littering the sky. Izuku soon lifted his hand up. I don't know why people randomly lift their hands up when they lie down. But I took this as a chance to lock my fingers with his. 

I hear Izuku laugh when I lightly kiss his fingers. He then lets his arm fall back and I hold onto his hand. After a bit of just staring off into space, Izuku decided to get up; pulling me up on the way. Izuku was surprisingly strong for his small stature. 

"What would you like to do now?" I ask him when I stood straight up. 

"Anything you want, Todo." Izuku said grabbing my other hand. He leans back and I hold him up as he sways. He's such a cutie. I then bend my arms and pull him close.

"Let's go back inside how about?" he smiles as nods. We then walk back up to the house. By the front door was a giant bag. I pick it up and throw it over my shoulder and walk into the house. When we get inside we open the bag and it had all of our stuff in it.

I smile slightly at the note and pick my clothes out from my bag and Izuku grabs his. We jog back up to our room and put everything away. We go back to the bag, at the bottom of it was another bag. 

I open it. There was a bunch of money.

To get you started

The money seemed to be enough to cover us for a few weeks. I go back upstairs and put the bag in an empty drawer. I shut the door and look over to the bed where Izuku said cross legged. He had a book in his hands. 

"Where'd you get that?" I ask him. 

"I found it." he said showing me the old book. It was Romeo and Juliet. 

"I read that book, it's pretty depressing." I sat next to him. He was only a few pages in. 

"I've heard it was pretty romantic too though." he said elbowing me. I hold up my arm and Izuku cuddles under it. I read with him. Izuku seemed to read slower than me so I didn't have to worry about reading too slow. He turned the pages, slowly making comments as we read. About which characters he already hated, which he loved. Or others he thought we going to die quickly. 

It was fun reading along side Izuku. 

We read for hours. The Sun had begun setting outside. Reading can make time pass so quickly. We were close to the end of the book when I heard a noise. 

"Sorry." I look over at a blushing Izuku. His stomach had growled. I pat his stomach. 

"We can finish this later, let's go into town and find some food." 

"But it's getting good! The poison and..." he whines. I look at the book page and close it for him. I put it on our bed and we get up. We then leave our home. 

We walk into town and try to find a place to eat. Soon we stumbled upon a small restaurant. We head on inside and sit down at a table. This restaurant was a nice little place. There was a fireplace at the end of it which warmed up the whole place. 

Soon a young lady with bright pink hair came up to us. 

"Welcome to Ashido Tavern. I'm Mina and I'll be taking your order."

We smile at the you lady and order our food.  She soons comes back with our food and a check. I quickly pay her and begin eating. 

"The food is so good here." Izuku said as he ate. After a bit Mina came back to check how our food was.

"I haven't seen you two around, are you new to this town?" she asked. 

"Yeah, we just moved into our home today." I tell her. 

"Well do you two have work?" we both shake our heads. 

"Can either of you cook?" she asks.  I shake my head but Izuku nods. 

"Well my father who cooks injured his hand, we need a replacement for a while."

"Are you sure I'm qualified?" Izuku asks. 

"Come back tomorrow and make a dish. Then we'll test it out." Izuku smiled brightly and nods. Mina smiles back.

"Excited to see you then!" she then go back into the kitchen and Izuku turns to me.

"I'm getting a job~!" he bragged. I smile. 

"You'll do a great job."  

We finish our meals before heading back home. Izuku was holding a bright smile the whole way back home.
