When we arrived and signed into the hotel it was night and quite late so we instantly went to bed the moment we could. I had chosen this hotel for its onsen and close proximity to the shops which we would explore tomorrow. So when I woke up I dragged Mikayla with me to the onsen, it took quite a bit to convince her to come with me but she enjoyed herself in the end. After we quickly changed in our room before going out to look at shops, I ended up buying a few figurines from my favourite anime whilst Mikayla actually bought a costume.
For a snack we went to a cat café, it was gorgeous inside and golden cages hung from the ceiling. The cats were able to jump into the cages and multiple cats just lounged comfortably. We paid to feed them and then we continued looking around at the stores until lunch, where we quickly found somewhere to eat. It was after lunch that finally one of my parent's spy/thief people finally showed themselves, the effort of convincing one of them to directly name my parents' cost time I wish it hadn't. However, we did eventually manage to gain the confession before we both knocked them out.
We quickly mailed the shopping we had done to Liana before finally going back to the hotel and booking a plane to France. 'We cannot go to Italy until the court is ready to condemn my parents the case had only just been sent in, so we'll hang out in France. Surely Mikayla would like to see Paris' I thought easily navigating the site and booking a flight to Lyon where we will take a train to Paris. Next, I looked at hotels to find one suitable for us to stay in whilst where there, whilst I was doing all of this Mikayla was packing everything up.
'How are you?' I questioned Ventilo, Arcum, and Gladium.
'I never thought I would be upset to be active' Ventilo thought allowing me to practically feel the shudder following the words.
'We are very lucky they were not equipped to hold us' Arcum admitted.
'Not to mention we would have been in a lot more trouble had you not started your elemental training' Gladium sighed.
'I am sorry we do not talk often, you may be glad to know that I have an idea on how to access your complete form and why no one else has worked it out' I explain my idea quickly feeling the agreement they seemed to feel.
'We will have to practice, once our full form is achieved only you will ever wield it' Arcum explained easily.
'What about your next chosen!' I thought.
'We will fade when you pass and become a normal necklace, this is the reason we want to be completed' Arcum explained further.
'Our time is very much the past we are not modern and we do not fit this time' Ventilo explained the reason. I pushed it from my mind, I did not want to think of them never speaking again even though this will all happen when I die. I was hoping my first daughter or granddaughter would be able to inherit the necklace like I had with my grandmother. Whilst that could still happen the tales I was told may never just click with them like they had when my grandmother told me.
It was late once everything was sorted and our plane was booked for tomorrow morning so we slept and the next day we caught our flight from Narita airport. After we touched down in Lyon we took a little time to see some of the attractions they had, then we bought train tickets and started on our way to Paris and our hotel. By the time we arrived in Paris and to our hotel it was dark and we needed to sleep, from the window we could see the Eiffel Tower or as the French refer to it, Le Tour Eiffel. Mikayla waited for the lights to turn on whilst I just crashed on my bed, I do not know how long she remained awake but I woke the next day generally early.
I quickly called Sófie knowing she would be getting ready for school at this particular time. I needed to know if they had submitted the evidence yet so I knew how long I will be staying in France before returning to Italy to participate in the trial. After the conversation where she told me I should come back in exactly a week and they had a bit of a surprise for me. Before waking Mikayla, I decided to test my theory on the weapon, closing my eyes I thought back to when my grandmother had first told me of the history of the weapons.
...and the weapons whilst powerful were never truly complete, now Mavis when I was told the story my mother asked me a question now I will ask you the question. If you were to gain any of the Trianima what one would you wish for?
Grandmother, each weapon has a unique attribute why would I only want the abilities from one of the weapons? The bow allows for a distance weapon and the counter this the rapier forms a short range weapon. Neither of those two really help to defend and so that is where the fan helps to allow for a defensive weapon. I... I wouldn't want to leave something behind besides! I wouldn't be able to really use them I don't hold the skills need to wield them in the first place so it doesn't matter that much...
A light shook me from my memories to my shock in my hands was a bow bladed on either side. The string was made from wind and as I gave an experimental twirl the blade side unfolded into two fans and the weapon undid in the middle. No longer did I hear three voices but one new one that I have never heard before, 'Who are you?' I thought still shocked at the difference.
