Australia was warm, at least that was the first thing I noticed stepping out of the airport in Adelaide. This was after first landing in Sydney and transferring, after all Sydney is obvious in the attraction. Adelaide had attractions just unobvious and not the most interesting ones, unfortunately the most popular attraction was just a bit far from my options at the moment considering I was under aged. The wineries were generally gorgeous though, I noticed as much whilst being driven past them. I found a motel and bought a room. Australia was not somewhere I had been before, as most of the international competitions were held... well not in Australia.

Not to say there hadn't been any, my parents just decided not to them as there were other options. So instead of looking at popular attractions I went shopping, bought new clothes and a pin. The pin was a recent idea; I had bought one in Switzerland so I decided to buy one in all the countries I visited on this little adventure. By the end of two weeks, I decided to move to another state just for the sights there, so after a month of hopping places I was almost surprised that it took so long. The people who were supposed to be in charge of tracking me down seem to be quite horrible at their job.

This time I didn't have a place easy to just take them down so instead I changed, dyed my hair a different colour, some new coloured contacts. I even changed my entire style I wear, I acted like an average teenager and hung out at the mall then made a friend in an hour. I had never been quite normal but this little act worked and they left for a bit, I explained to Mikayla that it may cause her trouble to stay with me. "If there is trouble then life is interesting besides you need someone who can actually legally drive," she replies when I offer for her to leave. Being eighteen she is legal in a lot of places which admittedly did make it easier for us in the end.

When my followers returned she showed me her skills as a nationally ranked martial artist and I decided... "You have to teach me that!" I said excitedly pointing towards one of the guys who is now unconscious and already forming bruises.

"Maybe another time when you're not on the run from your parents in an attempt to prevent large and dangerous to the guard's robberies," Mikayla said rolling her eyes.

"Damn that doesn't let me out of my fan and rapier lessons..." I trailed off with fake annoyance icing my tone.

"Those lessons are to help you master the weapon you are supposedly going to finish; the same weapon your parents are trying to steal. This is a personal interest in martial arts making you wish to learn, you can wait," was the deadpanned reply I was given. Ignoring her for a bit I turn back to my laptop and the flight options we have now before deciding I needed help.

"Where do you want to go, your choice I can't decide but I will pay for everything with the money I have won in competitions," I explained pointing towards the screen.

"What competitions... and I would love to go to Japan, I absolutely adore their culture!" she asked and answered.

"I'm a nationally ranked archer... also, I didn't know you used words like adore," I replied easily falling into this odd banter we seemed to start.

"Wait a nationally ranked archer! You were surprised I'm a nationally ranked martial artist," she deadpanned.

"Hey! I'm Italian I don't even live in this country, besides I'm also internationally ranked so it makes more sense for you to actually know of me..." I explained.

"This is why no one agrees to go overseas with someone they just met... well except me but that is probably some weird rebellious part of me that still argues with my parents constantly," Her answer did slightly worry me.

"Please tell me we won't arrive in Japan and you will decide this was a horrible idea and just abandon me, I really don't want to leave you alone when you don't speak the language..." I trailed off easily.

"I won't if anything I'll get there and go I regret this but I'm going to do it anyway, that's the type of person I am," she explained. 'That doesn't make me feel much better..." my thought trailed.

So after that night we went to the airport and bought two tickets to Japan next, I met up with Mikayla to go through customs together. Then I went and bought us something to eat. 'Now my strict meal plan is no longer in effect, I will be taking advantage of that,' I thoughts as I paid for the doughnuts. I found Mikayla again looking at the neck pillows, "Are we getting any? Surely the flight to Japan isn't a short one..." she asked looking at them.

"Of course just choose one and we can pay and then go to the gate to wait, we still have to get through the customs for an international flight," I explained as we chose one and then went to pay. Going through the international customs took a little time but finally, we go to the duty-free section... So much chocolate, I don't think I want to say how much of that chocolate we actually bought. I pulled Mikayla away from the alcohol and towards to gate, "No we are not buying alcohol, I'm underage and you cannot fight whilst under the influence," I said reminding her of the competition I entered her in as a cover to go to Japan.

She practically sulked as I dragged her away, she perked up a bit when she saw that I was not just going to the gate but somewhere we could get a snack instead, as we still had a while until we boarded the flight.
