Chapter 2

Fly was shaking. We were standing outside of the classroom doors and already, the air was hot, and children were screaming and yelling at each other. I Pushed open the door to find half the class throwing fireballs at one another and one girl, with long hair made of water was rushing around the classroom in a panic, putting out every fire that started in the small wooden classroom. Tyler was enjoying the chaos and poor Fly was trembling in the corner, in fear of the Pyromancy that was happening. As soon as I set foot in the room, all eyes were on me. One boy shot a fireball at me that I easily dodged, not showing any emotion.

"Hey guys! We have an emotionless!"

"This year will be fun!"

"Don't you dare touch my sister or I'll make sure your life is a living nightmare," Tyler growled from behind the group of kids, looking like a demon summoned from hell. The classroom seemed to go in slow motion. Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at Tyler with wide eyes. One boy burst out in laughter.

"What are you going to do about it? Bet you don't have a cool power like us!" He turned to his friends. "I bet he has a stupid power like Forsight!" The class burst out in laughter as Tyler started muttering something under his breath and his eyes glowed a bright red. A cricket ball smashed through the window, hitting the kid square in the face, causing a nosebleed.

"Oohhh, how unlucky are you? It's not like I altered your luck!" Tyler sneered sarcastically. Fly stared in awe and fear. He pulled out a notebook and frantically scribbled something down. I looked over his shoulder to see what he was writing and saw the words, 'Don't mess with Skye's scary brother!' I covered the words with my hand.

"Don't let Tyler see that," I whispered before picking a seat next to Tyler's.
