10:12am – 2 weeks later

It had been 2 weeks since Riley found out about Matt's death, and her parents decided to give Riley her phone back. The first thing she did was text Leonardo; she decided that they could hang out again. She can't grieve Matt forever, she had to move on some how and she figured Leonardo could help with that. Leonardo wanted to take her dancing that night so Riley decided to go shopping for a new dress. She found a red, slinky, dress with a plunging neckline and a thigh high slit. It was perfect. Later that night, they went dancing. Leonardo taught her the Tango. When he dipped her, he slid is hand sensually up her thigh lifting her dress higher, then looking deep into her eyes, they kissed. It was like magic to Riley. When the song stopped playing they went back to their table and ordered their dinner. Riley's phone started buzzing before they could get their food. It was Macy, her best friend since diapers, she was texting her to look at the news and sent a link.

A video popped up with Matt's picture and news reporter saying, "A 17 year old boy found in a comatose state and delivered to the hospital 2 weeks ago is finally claimed by worried parents." Matt's crying parents came on, "He has been missing for 2 weeks, we're just glad we found him. The doctor's haven't told us if he'll wake up soon or not. We are just hoping for the best."

Riley put down the phone in utter shock and looked at Leonardo with tears in her eyes. He just looked at her and knew it was time to go. He drove her to the hospital and went in with her but stayed in the waiting room. Macy was in the room with Matt when Riley arrived. Macy was kind of stunned by Riley's dress, "were you just on a date?" She asked. Riley looked at her nervously, "yeah, I thought Matt was dead. Besides we weren't together for very long. I was still grieving and needed a fun night out."

Macy looked at her in understanding, and then sadly said, "Why haven't we been close lately?

Riley was unsure of what to say, its not like she could just tell her what has been going on. A psychopath was stalking her and she didn't want to endanger her. He had already broken her foot when she tried to mention it the first time and then kidnapped Matt.

After thinking about it for a moment, she replied, "Its just been a really busy time, I'm sorry we haven't really talked lately but that'll change, I promise." Riley walked to the other side of the bed and gave her a hug. Then she looked down a Matt, at all the tubes coming from his body, he wasn't able to breathe on his own or anything, it was a terrifying sight. Riley squeezed Matt's hand in hopes of a response but nothing happened.

Matt's parents walked in a startled Riley and Macy. They looked at Riley's dress before they realized it was her then said, "Oh Riley, honey, how have you been?"

"I've been fine, Mr. and Mrs.'s Connor. I should be going now, I'll leave you two alone with Matt." Then her and Macy walked out of the room together squeezing each other's hand, not knowing if or when Matt would wake up.
