"Is she goin-",
"she has made it along way.",
"Thank you doctor",
I could hear mumbles of voices.
I opened my eyes slowly and looked around.
White walls with ugly curtains, get well balloons I can only be in one place. I heard the door shut, I sat up In the bed quickly.
"Well good morning sunshine",
Cameron pulled up a chair to my bed.
"Ho- how", I was speechless.
"Nash found you unconscious behind an old warehouse building", Cameron said sitting down he looked tired.
"Why did you-",
I cut him off I knew exactly what he was going to say..
"Cameron, just stop", I told him
"Faith",
"No Cameron I didn't ask you to take care of me", I felt a tear stream down my face.
I turned my face so he wouldn't see me cry,
He grabbed my hand.
"I Don't care if you want me to take care of you or not, I'm here, I'm staying, if you like it or not. ", Cameron began to get tears In his eyes
"You don't understand cameron", I snapped. "Girls like me, you can't make a house wife out of us, You can't tame us were good at one thing. Screwing. Why don't you get that",
"I don't want to lose you", Cameron said as I tear streamed down his face "you're the first person I have wanted in my life since I moved out here a year ago",
"Cameron", I muttered
"Why can't you realize that you can't change your past but I am here and I am willing to love and to take care of you, no matter how fucked up you are, because I'm not fucking perfect either sweetheart.", Cameron said.
He was Angry now.
"At least Cameron you can run home to your mom mine is dead I don't know where she is", I snapped through my tears.
I didn't think twice about what I said..
Cameron didn't think twice either, he flipped the wooden chair he was sitting in and threw it across the room.
He began to move closer to me.
"God Dammit Faith you don't get it I just-", he paused.
He slammed his lips onto mine without asking permission.
I didn't fight his lips, they already won.
"Is everything okay m'am?", a middle aged female nurse entered the room.
Cameron released my lips.
"Yeah we're fine", I mumbled
"Why can't you just see Faith, that I am not Liz, I'm not this fucking dumb-ass Doug guy, I won't hurt you", Cameron said As He stormed out of the room.
I tried to comprehend what just happened.
"Sweetie, you've got a cute boyfriend and he seems to really care about you, he hasn't left your side these last couple of days you've been out", the nurse said checking my Blood pressure.
"He's not my boyfriend", I told her wiping the tears with my free arm
"I don't believe in real relationships they all just end in disaster", I told her.
"Well sweetie, you're awfully young to come to that realization, most girls around your age are dying to find a young man like Cameron life is about taking risks and trying new things and forgetting about the past", the nurse said inserting some pain medicine in my IV.
"Cameron doesn't realize what I have gone thru the past nine years", I said becoming relaxed.
"It's time to forgive and forget, let go and move forward.", she said walking towards the door.
"What's your name?", I asked the nurse.
"Nancy,", she replied. "Now get some rest the doctor wants to run some tests when you wake up", she exited the room.
I laid there and thought about everything she said. The first night I met Cameron and how every time I do try to leave he just makes his way back to me, maybe it is faith.. I laid there and began To feel sleepy.. And then It hit me all at once.
"Faith",
I opened my eyes,
"Cameron",
"Hey.",
"Hi", i said
Cameron was back in the room.
His hair was a mess, he was wearing a pair of sweatpants and a green hoodie.
he didn't look spectacular but it he was still hot.
"Look, I'm sorry for earlier", Cameron said looking down at the ground.
"Cameron, no I'm sorry.",
He looked up and pulled a red rose from behind his back.
"This rose is just a promise from me to care for you for one eternity", Cameron said with a chuckle.
"Get it one rose" he added
He handed me the rose.
I grabbed his hand and looked at him deep in the eyes I kissed his lips.
"What was that for?", he asked with a smirk
"I felt like it", I replied moving in for another kiss.
I thought a lot about what Nancy said and she was right, I hated to admit it but it but she was right I had to give him a real chance, like he's giving me.
I didn't think from that moment on, things were going to go in all sorts of different directions, up and down.
"Miss", the doctor said coming in with a team of nurses "we have some bad news",
