MAY
For the next few days after the incident, I tried by all means to avoid the spot where I knew I would be in full view of the basketballers. Infact, I started going home by bus once again just so I would not meet my stranger guy or his friends.
To my surprise, one day as I was on the bus heading home and minding my own business, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I looked back to see who was trying to disturb my peaceful afternoon and saw the light once again but this time around the melody did not play. I felt even more embarrassed that I wanted my seat to swallow me. I therefore looked at him stunned at seeing him on the bus seated right behind me. I opened my mouth to speak but no words came out. I tried to feel all calm but my looks gave it away and showed that I was very nervous and didn't know what to do. I felt my legs become weak and slowly melting. Thank God I was seated because somehow I thought I would have fallen if I wasn't.
He, on the other hand looked so composed and calm. I wondered if he felt the same way. While all this seemed to take a lifetime in my imagination, it only took a second because the next minute I heard him say "hey basket" while giving me the warmest, most attractive smile I have ever seen in my entire life. When I say 'entire' I mean it. All the sixteen years of my life I had never received such a smile before. It was a new feeling I could get used to.
I replied with a smile and before I could say anything I realised that the bus had reached my stop and I had to get off it. As I was about to get off,  I noticed that Mr stranger guy had reached his stop too. I don't know why but I was extremely excited and my smile grew wider. Onlookers should have thought that I was running mad or something.
We both got out of the bus and waited for it to leave the station when he said "Uhmmm basket, I didn't get your name".  Upon hearing those words I felt like I had won the lottery. I kept my cool and said it with a little smile on my face " Maylander, you can call me May". He said "Wow that's a lovely name. I'm Matte and I'm really sorry about the other time ". I wasn't sure whether he was talking about the bumping incident or the time I made a complete fool out of myself and his friends found that as comedy. We shook hands and told each other how nice it was to meet the other.
That handshake was electrifying. Not electric shock, death but electric shock saying he's the one I've been waiting for all my life. It sent down a shiver down my spine  until it reached my toes and came back up. This was an amazing handshake or am I just exaggerating because I had a crush on Matte?
Matte, Matte, Matte yeah I know his name now what...
Not knowing what to do or say next I told him I had to go even though I didn't really mean it because deep down I knew I wanted to stay and be with him not caring about whatever plans he had.

MATTE
I watched her leave in a hurry. She had a slender body with the perfect height. She was so short that I could jump over her as a warmup before my exercise. Her hips swung from left to right and her butt had a perfect firm shape which just made her look cute. She had a dark skin full of melanin, even toned. She had a natural look and the perfect whites. Her hair was in a ponytail that gave her an innocent look. I imagined her in my arms giving me the best cuddle while we ate ice cream, wait I hate icecream so chocolate, most chocolate is too sweet for my liking, how about pizza? No one likes cuddles while eating pizza. Oh well then while sipping on slush puppies. Slush puppies, yes, that would be perfect.  She was so beautiful and so well structured that I thought she probably has a boyfriend. I didn't care about all those possibilities. I wanted her and that I was sure of.  I didn't know how I was going to meet her again but all I knew is that I had to see her again.
