MAY
As Sam drove away from the mall that Saturday, I could not say anything to him. He saw everything including my humiliation. All I could do is give way to a flood of tears. My tears flowed uncontrollably that I could feel dehydration kicking in. My eyes were sore and I thought of what I had done in life to deserve such treatment from the cruel people of this world.
I decided there and then without hesitation that I would not let my guard down for anyone in my life again. My feelings werevdeadvand buried 6 feet under. I could not let myself hurt anymore.
I noticed that the care was not going in the direction of home and I wondered why. It could have been a possibility that Sam had some business to take care of before taking me home. As we approached some unfamiliar surrounding I became curious and asked Sam where we were headed to. He told me that I had to have fun and forget about all that I was going through.
We parked in front of a building I had not seen before in my life. At the entrance was some sort of check point for identification. As soon as I got out of the car hesitantly, we headed straight to the building and enters. This building was really wwired but I liked it. Everyone was dressed in an exposing mannervand I felt out of place. The music was so loud that I could feel my ear drum getting raptures. The whole building was dimly lit and smelt of alcohol and cigarette smoke. I wondered what I was doing in a place like that.
I looked at Sam and he, was looking so cakn like he was home. He approached me with two bottles that contained some cold liquid. I read the label and saw that it was liquor. When I told Sam that I did nor take alcohol and I hadn't taken it before, he laughed helplessly and, said that there was, a first time for everything a he gulped on his liquor. I must admit that I was amazed at the way hw drained hua bottle that I wondered how long he had been doing this. Curiosity killed me and I wanted to give it a try. I then looked at the bottle in my hands and directed the bottle towards my mouth. The smell that reached my nostrils was not inviting but I proceeded
I took a sip and I loved it. The chilled feeling running down from my mouth down to the pit of my stomach. That feeling was so great that I took another sip and another and another until I drained my bottle to the very last drop. At this point my head was beginning th spin and I saw one and a half of everything. My dat was fading from my mind that I ordered for another drink and another until I made my way to the dance floor.
Did I mention I was a very good dancer? I put on some moves on that dance floor that everyone stopped doing whatever they were doing and started watching my free show. I was dancing so low that the ground seemed high for me. After a few minutes, I was joined on the dance floor by a couple of strangers. I danced with an uncountable number of people that I couldn't know if any one planted anything on me. I had such a fun time that I kept on taking more and more of that liquor until I could take no mre. I danced so much that the dance floor felt small, the music sounded low and the DJ couldn't keep up with what I had to offer.
The whole feeling was amazing that I forgot about everything including who I was until I passed out.
