Chapter 17 - House of the Devil

The two girls stood in front of each other as the many people began crowding around them. It seemed as if half of the bar was outside watching, when in all reality, it hadn't even made a dent in the population inside. Sweet Pea stood behind his friend, massaging her shoulders as if he was revving her up. Macie looked everywhere except at the girl. Her breathing began to hitch, although it was merely nothing compared to the blow of air escaping her body when Toni punched her.

She quickly bounced back from the surprise attack, the blonde finally putting her hands up to block any of the upcoming hits. Toni continued to throw her fists around, only coming as close as possible without actually touching the girl. She'd noticed quickly Macie wasn't fighting back, so possibly getting the girl scared enough, she would try defending herself.

"Come on! Macie, fight back!" Toni motivated, although she kept dodging the hits instead. "You're mad at me! I kissed Jughead!" She shouted at her. "I gave him a tattoo!" Macie threw a punch, Toni leaning back quickly to not get hit. "Good. That's good." She sighed. "I made him join the Serpents!" Macie extended her arm straight forward, knocking the other girl directly on the bridge of her nose. Toni fell back a few steps with a smirk before coming back face to face with the blonde. "Didn't know you had that kind of fire in you, Johnson."

"You know nothing about me." Macie gritted her teeth.

"Let's see what you got, cheerleader. Get that pep out." Toni continued to heckle the Northsider, getting her as annoyed as she could. Macie threw a right hook, Toni ducking to surpass it. "Pitiful. Do you think your dad would've been proud of that —" The girl surprised her with the same hook on the other side, making Toni fall to the ground. "Now it's on."

The brunette leaned on her knees to fake weakness before charging and tackling the girl to the hard concrete beneath them. The crowd leaned away from the two, making the circle grow around them. Each girl seemed to get their fair share of cheers, although most only knew Macie as 'Northsider' it was still enough to push the girl forward.

The fight hadn't seemed to end until Toni was left on the ground with Macie standing over her. Sweet Pea made his way up to her slowly. He put his hand out as a sign of respect and Macie shook it. A roar of cheers were heard from around the three teenagers as if it were that easy to get into the gang. She then leaned down and put her hand out for Toni to take. They knew there was no hard feelings, Toni offering to fight the girl that way she wouldn't have to embarrass herself with the pole dance.

"Thank you." Macie whispered as she helped the girl inside.

"For what? That was all you, Johnson." Toni smirked. She sat down on one of the bar stools as Macie stood beside her. "But that wasn't the initiation. There's still more."
