Chapter 32 - Judgements
"You got an off button, Johnson?" Sweet Pea called out. The tired girl rolled her eyes and continued her story: telling Toni the details of her weekend with her friends.
"Ignore him. Continue." Toni leaned on the bar to rest her head in her palms as she listened.
"Like he was just being sweet." Macie shrugged. "Jughead was all of a sudden this guy that I can like again, despite everything that he put me through. We were best friends. Then..."
"Then?" Toni's eyes went wide as if she was watching a drama that had a surprise twist.
"Then he kissed Veronica —"
"— what?!" She shouted.
"— and I kissed Archie.."
"Oh my god," Toni took a step away from the bar to lean on the counter behind her.
"I'm free if you're just giving them out.." Fangs called from beside Sweet Pea.
"..then Veronica.." both girls took in a deep breath.
"That ones kind of hot." Sweets commented. All eyes shot to him and he shrugged. "Am I lying?" Toni shook her head in agreement and Macie scoffed at the two.
"You have such weird friends." Fangs added. "It wasn't even a party. Were you playing spin the bottle?" Macie shook her head.
"Isn't Lodge dating Andrews?" Sweet Pea noted. Toni nodded in response and he sucked his teeth. "So Jones kissed Lodge while all of you were under the same roof?"
"Same hot tub." Macie corrected. Toni poured her and Macie shots as she stuttered to explain what happened without giving away too much of Archie's kiss with Betty. Fangs snapped his fingers and gestured for the girl to pour him one too, she did so with a small smirk. "It's just... so much drama.." Macie then breathed out at the end of her story.
"And you're just okay with that?" Sweets asked, not necessarily growing more interested but more so confused. "Jughead kissing Veronica. You're just going to act like nothing happened?"
"We're not dating, he's a free guy. Jug can do whatever he wants to." She shrugged.
"But I thought you two were getting back together." Fangs more questioned than stated. "Isn't that why you broke up in the first place, because he kissed some girl?"
"No, but I was mad at him for a hot minute." She looked between all three pairs of eyes.
"You've got so much drama. I need your drama like I need a hole in my head." Sweet Pea rolled his eyes.
