backstory : Maddie was born in Tokyo, Japan, but she moved to the United States when she was about a toddler. She has both parents, a Japanese mom and an American dad, but sadly they are divorced. She grew up living with her mom in the northeastern part of Los Angeles, though she has been going back and forth, like staying in one parent's house on weekdays or weekends. She was bullied by mean people from school for being different from others, and the harsh words triggered her real badly. During her senior year, she created a YouTube channel and uploaded videos that were mostly beauty and lifestyle, and all of a sudden, her channel went skyrocketed with the amount of views, subscribers and likes. She currently moved to Downtown LA to pursue her YouTube career and do collaborations with fellow influencers like herself.
