The last thing I remember is seeing the van pile into my car and seeing Nikki was gone, then darkness. When I finally opened my eyes. I found myself in a large clearing surrounded by thick trees, my hands were tired to a large piece of trunk stuck into the ground. I struggled against it but I couldn't break the chains meaning they were made just for supernatural creatures with superhuman strength.. I must not have been out that long because it was still dark outside, the only light coming from the full moon overhead when it wasn't blocked by the thick dark clouds. Everything hurt, but nothing was broken. I heard a groin beside me and looked over to see Nikki tied to the tree beside me. He was in a lot worse shape then I was but he would heal soon.

"Nikki are you alright?"

That fear I had that I was going to loose another man I loved came back strong and I was almost shaking when a strong male laugh filled the clearing. A look out into the tree only showed many glowing eyes, the wolf pack were all around us hidden in the darkness. There had to be at least a hundred of them.

From somewhere in the darkness the deep laugh came again and out stepped Sy Darkclaw. He was dressed in black leather pants them looked like they were painted onto his body, brown boot. and a deep red shirt open in the front showing his chest and stomach. His black hair was pulled back into its normal ponytail and he looked like something out of those cheesy romance novel covers. As he stepped out of of the shadow something glints in the moonlight, in his right hand he held a sword. From the way the blade look different from normal metal swords I could only guess it was made of sliver and it was prob one of the ways he kept his pack in check. I had seen people like him before. Long time ago the leopards were tormented by there leaders and I had to kill them. I have no shame about doing it, I saved a lot of good people that day including Micah.

The blade was engraved with what almost looked like vines or branches that went down to the hilt, which looked almost like a trunk of a tree. There were were about a doz crystals that embed in it of different colors and each were the size of your thumbnail.

He seemed to notice that I was looking and walked towards us as he spoke.

"you like the sword? Its been passed down our family for centuries. Every time a new member of the family is born a new crystal is added." He turned the sword over to show that one crystal had been taken out leaving only a small hole. "Some had to be removed, we cant have imperfect mutts mucking up our family tree." He grinned wide as he spoke.

I had to cough and clear my throat before I could speak. "Then not kill her at her home? Why Play with her."

He laughed again. "I only keep her alive because she was suppose to take my brothers place when he died, I will kill her in front of the clan in a fair fight and then I will be the rightful ruler of this pack." He was standing in front of me now. He reached over and touched my check with the back of his hand, I pulled away and tried to bite his hand. His damn fast reflexes had me only biting air.

He leaned forward and whispered "I told you I would break you human."

Before I could react he leaned forward and licked my check. I groaned in disgust wiping it the best I could off on my shoulder. "Now now human where about to get very close." he grabbed my shirt and I heard the already torn cloth tearing and I could feel the cold night air on my bare skin, as he throw my shirt on the ground leaving me In just my bra. I suddenly knew what he meant by we were going to very close and I inhaled struggling harder against the chain but they won't budge. The wolves in the trees started to anxious, I could hear them pacing and growing low.

Sy reached for my pants when a male came up behind him. He must have been his second in command, and was just as good looking as all the other males. He was six foot of pure muscle, with a shaven head and dark brown eyes.
