6 - Night and dreams

Myles

I wake up, and see that i'm still at Mike's house. And then i remembered what happened, and how i finaly found out that i liked Briar. I then decide to get up, and i go out to get some water. But when i get out i get a shock. I see Briar standing up against the table, and sipping of a glass of water. 'Sorry didn't meant to scare you.' She says. 'Oh, you didn't.' I say quick. 'Okay okay,' she says giggling. I smile, and walk over to take a glass of water to. 'So, why are you up?' I ask. 'I couldnt sleep anymore. You?' She says. 'Yea, the same.' After that no one of us want's to go back and sleep, so we just talk. A lot. 'OMG! Stop i don't want to remember that!' She giggles. I laugh to, and this just made me remember how much i love talking to her. So i better get over her, so it want be akward.
'Well, we should probably, go back to sleep?' I ask. 'Yea you'r right.'

As we walk back in, I sit down in the couch expecting her to lay down next to Mike again. When I'm sittinh she just looks at me. 'What?' I ask confused. 'Are you going to make room for me or?' She giggles. 'Oh, I just thought. Well yea sure!' I say. Then she sits down next to me, a little closer then I thought. Soon we're both fast asleep.

Briar

When I wake up, i feel my head lieing on a shoulder. I look up, and see Myles still asleep. I can feel how he breaths in and out. It was really fun talking last night, I've missed that. I lay my head down on his shoulder again, and befor I know it, I'm sleeping.

Mike

Suddenly I wake up because I hear someone scream. I look around and see Briar, sitting close up to Myles, and she look terrified. Hey wait, why is she sitting with Myles, I thought she fell asleep in my arms. But i see Myles trying to calm her down, an obviosly everyone else woke up, so they all sit around them. 'Hey what happend?' I say walking over there. 'Bad dreams!' She says almost crying. 'Shhh, don't worry, it was just a bad dream. We're all here.' Myles says and put his arm around her. Soon it's almost like it never happend, and Briar starts to calm down. I'm happy she's ok, but it annoys me that it was Myles who helped her. But i guess they have been friends in like forever, so it's probably nothing.

Nobody is questioning why she is sitting next to him, so i don't either, though i really wanna know.

After a while we all get up, and go have breakfast. Briar sits down between me and Myles. 'Morning.' She says with a smile, as she looks at me. 'Morning.' I say, and smile at her to. 'So why did you move last night?' I say quietly so nobody else hears it. She looks at me a little confused. 'So?' I ask a little annoyed. 'I was just going to get some water, and when i came back i coulndt see anything, so I just sat down. But is there a problem?' She says a little louder and they all turn their heads around. 'Oh, no no, of course not!' I lie. 'Good!' She says, and takes my hand, and smile.
This is one of my favourite mornings.

When i'm about to go, i hear Briar and Myles talking. I sneak closer to them so i can hear what they'r talking about. 'Why did you say that?' Myles asks. 'I just thought that since he already seemed a bit angry, i didn't wanted to trow dust in it.' She says back. What did they mean, what happend between them. Did they kiss or something?!
'Well i think i'm gonna take of now.' She says. 'Ok, see you tomorrow!' Then they hug, and Briar walks over to me. When she sees me she stops. 'What are you doing? Where you listening?' She says. Myles turn his head, he obviosly heard us. 'Ehm no, why?' I lie again. 'I'm just curious!' She reply happily. How can i ever get mad at her, she's to cute. 'But i guess i see you tomorrow then?' I say. 'Yea, wait how did you know I was leaving?' She asks. Oh oh, I'm caught. 'I just thought you were?' 'Ok, then I see you tomorrow!' She says and gives me a tight hug. When we pull away I kiss her cheek, and she giggles. 'Bye!' She says to everyone. They all respond with 'byes' and 'see you tomorrow'. And then she left.

Briar

That was close, it could have got pretty akward. But I think everyone had a great time, I know I had. And what is better than finding out, a hot and nice guy likes you. And I'm pretty sure that I like him to, a lot... I'm just so nervous about it. I have never actully liked a guy that way, since I liked Myles. But that was like two years ago, and I'm totally over that. I'm just so happy that we still could be friends after that. Because I don't know what I will do without him, we have just been best friends since i can remember...
