25 - Almost "Home Sweet Home"

Katie's POV:

Well this trip was interesting... Yesterday I really felt like Myles was getting more into me as we were at the museum, but then when we got back and I got dared to kiss him. It only lasted a few sekonds, then he rushed out of the door. Ugh he's so confusing, why are boys just like that? Can't he just forget Briar and fall inlove with me?! I mean I know that she's really sweet and all, making it harder fir me to hate her, but he has a girlfriend, and I thinn that she should be the one sleeping in his arms, not a little fragile girl who can't do anything on her own.

"Are we all here?!" Michael shouts, as we're standing on the parking lot, about to get onto the bus, so we can finally get home from this peace of shit. There's a few mumbles of 'yes' and 'who cares' so eventually we all get onboard.

I follow Myles and his friends down to the back of the bus, just to keep an eye on this hole situation. Even though it may not sound like it, I do really like Myles. He's sweet and kind, I think he's funny and just look at him! He's SO hot I swear. It kills me that I havn't seen him without a shirt, ir even pants... I don't care, I'm not a virgin.

"So... what do we spend a three hour long drive on?" I ask, as I muff down in between Myles and Briar, ya know just for safety. "We talk." Myles says with a shrug, smiling at me. Well he's cute to, you can add that to the list. "Ok. Then let's talk!" I say, clasping my hands on my thigh. But no one starts talking, so there's just an awkward silence. Ehm, why so I have this feeling that none of these people like me..? Is it just cause I'm with Myles? Do they all think that he should be with Briar? They're wrong! He shouldn't.

I decideto just ignore them for now, and relax a bit, so I slowly rest my head on Myles' shoulder. As I do that I immediately feel his hole bidy tense up. Ehm that wasn't planned. Well he doesn't move away, so I just keep my head there...

Devon's POV:

Wow... this is so awkward. Katie just laid her head on Myles' shoulder, and seriously the look on his face was worth dying for. I look around to see everyone chocking on their laugher just like me, even Briar. God this must be so hard fir her though. To see your man with another girl, that doesn't sound to nice. Well he's hers soon, and I bet she can see how tense and awkward this all is. Oh boy how can I make this stop. Myles is still clueless and tense, and all of us are just trying our best not to laugh at the situation, while Katie looks slightly annoyed, though she tries to keep a calm not embarrassing facial expression. Well good try...

Suddenly she sits back up straight, looking hesitated around at all of us, causing Myles to sigh in relief. I just can't help but let out a little chuckle.

"Why don't you like me?" She suddenly asks looking at me Jessy, Anne, Tina and Tanner. Ehm duh, you're stealing Myles from Briar. You're ruining BRYLES!
I really felt like saying that out loud and I was about to, but luckily Jessy came before me. "We do like you. Why would you say that?" Well it's not cause we're talking that much to her, and she's just being a bitch. God I hate that girl. "Well you all get awkward and silent whenever I'm around." Katie says, again looking at all of us untill her eyes land on Myles. He quickly pulls himself uo from his seat, so he's sitting straight, before caughing. "Ehm... I just... ehm..." He tries, but fails miserably as he scratches his neck in a lost of words. Aha good job bro. You just got it with the ladies don't you..? "We're just not used to new people in our little squad." I quickly say to safe him, but all he does is give me a cunfused and annoyed glare. Ok mabye that wasn't the best I could've said, but I at least said something. "Yeah that's proberbly it." Briar agrees, sending her a smile. Ok either this girl is a really good actress, cause it looks like she actully likes Katie, or else she's just crazy cause she actully likes Katie. I mean come on Bri, she's taking your man!

"Then what's now?" Tina asks from my side. Yeah what now? This is just awkward again. Or actully it never stopped being awkward...
But then I get an idea! "Hey you know what we should do?!" I ask excited, and they all turn to me. "We should make a sleep over!" At first they look a bit sceptical. What?! We've done it before. "All of us?" Jessy asks hesitated. "Yes all of us!" I insist but soon gets a smirk, "unless you don't wanna sleep in the same room as a bunch of boys?" I tease her, making Myles and Tanner jolt at her as her cheeks go red. "Don't be stupid!" She hisses, trowing her shoe af me. OUCH! Hey Jessy! Random fact, a shoe is actully wuite hard. Just so you know that... "Woops sorry." She giggles, sending me an innocent look. Haha very funny Jessy...

"So where're we doing it?" Briar asks, and we all turn quiet. Well it can't be at my house, cause well... it just can't. Briar's house? No I guess it's to much with her dad and everything that has been going on.

"MYLES!" Tanner exclaims, making the poor boy almost fall off his seat in chock. "What?!" He exclaims back, sitting straight up again. "We should do it at your house." Jessy says. Oh yeah that would be great! And so much fun! Everyone loves Myles' family so it really us a win win situation! "NO!" The man himself suddenly shouts. No? Why?

"Oh why not?" Briar asks teasingly, looking at him. "Just no." He says sternly, also looking at her. And then there's quiet again. Ehm ok... bryles moment. Awkward silence. They forgot we were even here. How long has it been? 10 sekonds...

Briar's POV:

Why can't we do it at Myles' place, that's actully the only place I wanna do it cause of my hole family situation. His home is like my sekond home, and I LOVE his family. They're all so sweet. Oh I miss home. I miss my mom. I miss my sister. But I really really miss my dad. I love him. I don't wanna lose him.

Why do all these thoughts go through my head as I'm looking at Myles? And why am I still looking at Myles? Why is he still looming at me? The world is a confusing place to live. But you just gotta enjoy it while you can. Oh I hope my dad does that.

Ok tears wasnmt a lart of this plan! Luckily I quickly look down at my lap so no one will notice.

"Yeah it can be at my place." Myles suddenly says, and I quickly look up at him, to see him looking down at me. Aww he knows what's going on, and he's doing it for me. I love him- NO BRIAR YOH DON'T! You're supposed to get over this guy. Not love him. Stupid girl... I still love him though.

"Great then that's settled." Anne says, and we both quickly snap our heads to see everyone looking awkwardly at us, yet the have some slight smirks on their faces. Excelt Katie. But of course. I don't think she likes me. And to be honest I get why... I don't like her yet, but I'm trying to.

"Yeah it's settled..."

Ahahaa soz for being so inactive on this story. I guess I'll just update when I feel for it.

This chapter was pretty much just a filler, I don't know what I think of it, but I had to keep this book moving...
