Briar

Earlier this morning I got a really wierd phone call from my mom. She told me that Myles' mom had texted her, that my mom should make me fall inlove with Myles. I mean, that's not so hard, but why did she ask me to do that? It's pretty wierd and kinda funny. I didn't even realise that I was smiling at myself just thinking about it, before Jessy snapped her fingers infront of me. "Bri! What are you thinking about?" She asks with a slight smirk. "Oh, just nothing." I say. Smooth Briar, smooth. "Yeah right." Jessy laughs sarcastically. But lickily she changes the subject. "So are you guys looking forward to the trip this weekend?" She asks excited. Oh yeah, that's right, I totally forgot that the hole class is going on a trip to South Canada, to explore the city. "I totally forgot aboit that, but yeah! I'm really looking forward to it." I say, and Devon agrees, "Yeah it's gonna be so much fun!"

After a while of just talking, I hear footsteps behind me. When I turn around, I see Myles standing right behind me. "Morning." He says with a little smile. I let out a little giggle, I just can't help it. And that little giggle soon turns out to be a huge unstoppeble laugh. "What?!" He asks looking confused. That's so cute, I wonder if he even knows about what his mom wrote. "Sorry, I just can't help it!" I laugh, leaning against his shoulder so I wouldn't fall. "Seriously, what's so funny? Is it my hair or something?" He asks looking a little worried. Oh Myles...
"I got your text, or what you would call it." I say, when I finally got my laugher under control. "Oh, ehm..." He says looking at the floor. "Don't worry, it was just so funny." "No it wasn't it was really embarresing. I had to tell my mom and Tyson the hole story." He sighs, before smiling and raising an eyebrow. Oh my...

"Ok, I'm going to stop what ever this is." Jessy says pointing at us, "But are you ready for the trip this weekend?" She asks again looking at Myles. "Oh yeah, that's right. I totally forgot that." He says smiling. Ugh, why so cute Myles? Why? "Yeah, me to." I laugh looking up at him. "But yes, I'm looking forward to it." He says. "Not to much right?" Devon smirks. Myles just laughs, and skakes his head, "You know what I mean." "Yeah, but I heard that Katie's coming to." Devon keeps on going. Really is Katie coming to? Well I guess that I need to learn how to put up with her. I just feel like she got a problem with me, but I don't know what. "So that's what you meant." Myles says laughing again. "Wow, that boy is clueless." Jessy says. "Hey I'm not a boy, I'm 17 years old." He defends himself. "Well when you'r 18, you'r not a boy anymore." Devon says. "Ok let's just talk about something else." I interrupt. "Good idea." Jessy agrees.

The day goes by pretty fast, which is great, because that means that we are a bit closer to the schooltrip. I can't wait. I mean 4 days constantly hanging out with my friends. But on the other hand, it's four days where I can't just visit my dad everyday, to see how he's doing. I'm actully so scared and I'm freaking out because of him. But I can't let anyone know, they would proberbly just bully me with it.

When I get home I see that there's no lights in the house, which I find pretty wierd, because my sister Abbey should be home.
"Hello!" I shout, "Abs?!" I question as I walk around the living room. "Up here!" She yells from upstairs, proberbly in her room. When I come in, everything is dark, except the tv which is showing a horrormovie. "Why's everything turned off?" I ask. "Well I wanted to watch a horror movie, but now it's way to scary, so I was to scared to turn the lights back on. I was just hoping that you would be home soon." She says. Oh Abbey, of course you did. "Wanna watch?" She asks pointing at the seat next to her. "Didn't you just say that it was way to scary?" I say raising my eyebrows. "Yeah, so you wanna watch?" "Sure!" I say sitting down in the cauch next to her. She pulls the blanket over both of us, and hands me some popcorn. "Wow, someone was well prepared." I say jokingly. "You welcome." She says handing me a soda to, which I gladly accept.
All the eveninc we spend watching these really creepy movies. It's pretty funny, but we get so scared.
