Super Duper

First off I want to note that super speed vs flight is a would you rather question. Because Ray says she hates those, but secretly they are her favorite. You can't keep getting away with this, Ray.

And on we go. Boiling it down, this seems to be an argument between ability and practicality. If you can fly, you can do pretty much everything a speedy kid can, but also like jump really long and high and stuff. Fly up to stop a plane maybe. It adds a whole other dimension to speed - which is nice for sure. But, it is a zero-sum game, which takes away a ton of flexibility. You fly once and you're labeled a superhero/villain (idk how you roll) for life. Super speed, I imagine, you can just control it like a radio dial. Go pretty fast but not too fast and win the Olympics and such earthly delights. Dupe all the judges and the comitees, like *eyebrows at the title*.  But then, when your enemy, Maple Syrup Man drizzles down to try to slow you up, you can crank that thing to FM 120 and blast off! Options, y'know.

Flying is overrated. Like, they definitely got flying cars and all that but nobody has them because nobody wants them. The sky is a scary place - you gotta deal with aeroplanes and geese, like. Geese are absolute rapscallions and I wouldn't encroach on their domain if I was suicidal. When I was little, I threw a twig at a goose once and it that thing could've torn me to shreds if it wanted to. I don't know why it didn't - maybe it was a Quaker. I was certainly quaking, it was quacking - well, honking, but close enough.

Maybe once I get my super speed I'll run over them all. Or perhaps use my powers for good and repair our damaged relationship. But that's a question to answer on another day. Tomorrow is a freebie. Hmmmm.
