"How's this?" Zane asks his younger brother after he put on his clothes, removed his mask, and (kind of) did his hair.
"You look amazing!" Vylad exclaimed, clasping his hands together.
A knock on the door broke their conversation off early. Zane rushed to the door, the shirt hugging his chest tightly. Damn fitted shirt.
His mother was making her way over as well, not knowing about the movie Zane and Travis planned to see.
Pushing past his mother, Zane threw open the front door to reveal his best (and only), friend.
"Hey," Travis said, smiling brightly.
"Hey," Zane whispered, blushing.
"Your house is literally huge. Like... wow." This comment caused Zane to giggle slightly.
"Who are you? Zane? Who is this?" A female voice spoke.
"I'm Travis." He stuck out his hand to shake. "Zane's friend."
She took his hand cautiously, thinking he looked too much like an anime character with the white hair and everything.
"Nice to meet you," she said, eyeing him up. "I didn't know Zane had any friends."
"Wow. That makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside," Zane groans sarcastically. "You know, I think we are going to miss the movie so... yeah. Come on Travis." Zane slips on his converse and grabs onto the taller males wrist.
"Is it a date?" Zane's mother asks. Quickly, Zane freezes up, not knowing what to say or do.
"Is it a date?" Travis repeats, turning to Zane.
"If you want it to be?"
"Let's see how we feel about it after, okay?" Travis whispered in a calm voice, slipping his hand into Zane's.
"Bye mother!" Zane calls out, dragging Travis over to his truck.
It was green.
