The two males talk about random topics for nearly an hour. Boredom starts to set in and both look for a way to occupy themselves.
Zane begins pacing around the room while Travis draws on himself with a pen he found. After what feels like forever, Zane picks up a pillow and tosses it at Travis' head. The pen in Travis' hand runs up his arm, ruining the picture he was doodling. Standing, Travis glares at the other male.
"You're gonna pay for that," Travis states, putting the pen down. The white-haired male picks up a pillow and throws it back at Zane, not hard enough to hurt.
A few pillow tosses later, both males find themselves on Zane's bedroom floor, laughing as though they had just heard the funniest joke.
Travis was on top of Zane when they eventually stopped laughing so hard. Travis, seeing his chance, began to lean in. He caught himself before he went too far down, however. He brought his right hand up to Zane's face, pulling down the males mask. Shifting half of his weight back onto his right arm, Travis leaned in, beginning to close the gap between them. Both of the males gaze shifted from the eyes of the other to their lips and back again. It wasn't as awkward as Zane guessed it would be.
Before they could touch, the bedroom door swung open.
"Dinner!" Garroth cheered before realizing what he had just walked in on. Travis jumped up before lending a hand to Zane. Lifting the other male up, they both stood before the blond with red faces.
"Come eat," Garroth's tone was happy even though he held a glare on his face that could terrify just about anyone.
Travis and Zane followed quickly behind Garroth as they made their way into the kitchen, both feeling extremely awkward.
Everyone sat at the table and gathered their food, ready to eat. No one spoke throughout the meal, feeling no need to. Everyone seemed satisfied with the silence.
That night, silence would not be found, however. A thunderstorm was scheduled to roll in soon.
No one was dreading it more than Zane.
