Toast gasped as he watched his best friend fly into the wall and slid down it.

"Sir!" he reached out and tried to run towards him. But something was wrong.

He couldn't move. And he had a weird feeling this entity was doing something.

He looked up at the 'Vine-ess' as she called herself. As she introduced herself earlier as: "I am Vine-ess"

To which Toast thought it would be good to make a crappy pun.

"So you could say.. You wear the.. 'vine-ess' -t clothes right?" he laughed. "Get it? Vine-ess sounds like finest? No?"

Ghost shook his head at him.

"Sorry Sir." Toast couldn't get the smile off of his face.

Ghost blushed at his smile, before turning his gaze back to the entity.

And that had gotten them in this mess.

"You must be at least a level 6 poltergeist.." Toast tried to move again, until he looked down.

Vines were wrapping around his ankles, trying his thighs together. He nearly lost balance as he tried to get free. More vines from the floor shot up and tied his arms and wrists.

Despite being the strong 27 year old he was, he still couldn't get free or reach his salt.

His blue eyes stared up at the entity.

"Okay, maybe you are higher than a level 6..you're certainly using a power if some sort. But you are a poltergeist. And you knocked out my boss with a lot of force." he took a pause to try and get free. "However, you're stronger in this vine.. Web.. Thing I'm in."

The entity rolled her eyes. "I'm getting bored of your accent." She looked over at Ghost. "Your friend will be out for quite a while. So why not have some fun with you."

Toasts face fell. "What will you do? Kill me?"

"No.. Just make you suffer." she held out her hand and a vine shot out and wrapped around his neck, slowly squeezing.

Toast struggled to breathe. It was making him weaker but he couldn't give up. Ghost needed him. His blue eyes flickered over to the unconscious body of his friend.

"Let.. Hhhh.. Me.. Breathe.."

But the entity only tightened the grip, laughing. "Your lips are turning blue. I see that feeling in your eyes. You wish for your lips to touch your friends, don't you?"

Toast blushed, choking loudly and trying to breathe still. He was growing weaker. His vision was beginning to fade.

"When.. He.. Wakes.. Hh..ha..tell..him..I.. Loved.. Him.."

The entity laughed louder, giving one final squeeze. He choked loudly, before falling limp. The vines around him were the only things holding him up.

"Don't turn around. I don't wish to see your ugly face."

The entity screeched as Ghost fired a salt gun in her back. She fell and turned into powder.

His eyes teared up as he saw his partners body, tied. Ghost threw the gun to the side and ran over, cupping his face and lifting it up.

"Johnny?" he said. "Johnny I'm here now. You're safe now."

Nothing.

Ghost noticed his partners lips were blue and he wasn't breathing.

He wasn't breathing.

Adrenaline coursed through Ghost. He picked up his knife and tried to cut the vines around him. He managed to cut the vine around his neck.

But Johnny Toast still wasn't breathing.

Ghost began to panic. He angled his partners head and pressed their lips together, breathing out and lifting his head up to clear his airways.

"Come on Johnny." Ghost breathed out again, before pulling back and going again. "I need you Johnny."

He was about to give up hope when he felt a faint breath on his lips. He smiled as Toasts blue eyes opened.

"Hello.. Sir.."

"Johnny!" Ghost didn't think twice, he leaned forward and pressed his lips to Toasts in a needy kiss.

Toast smiled, kissing back and wishing he could pull Ghost closer.

"I love you.. Sir.." Toast breathed, the colour red painting his lips and cheeks.

Ghost smiled, breathlessly. "I love you too Johnny." He hugged him tightly before giggling.

"What?"

"You look a little.. Tied up.. There Johnny."

Toast rolled his eyes, too weak to pull on the vines. "Hey, I'm the one with the crappy puns."

"But you love me."

"Indeed I do.. I wish I could just reach out and kiss you again."

Ghost wrapped his arms around Toasts neck and leaned up. "Like this?" he asked quietly, leaning in again.

"Kind of, but you may have to give the kiss of life again, or I might pass out." he smirked a bit, the blush still on his cheeks.

Ghost rolled his eyes and kissed his partner again, this kiss lasting longer, but started roughly and grew softer.

"Now then.. Let's get you free."

"That would be a good idea, Sir."

They laughed.
