Little Mermaid Au

(Okay so here's now it is going to roll. This is for BellaJaneStar. It is between Gavin and Jimmy but I will also post another version up of Spooker and Colon because this could work well for both ships. But I hope you enjoy it.)

Jimmy had always had a quiet life. He was just a random mermaid (well more of a merman) with a bright red tail to match his bright red eyes. He had dark brown hair that followed the rhythm of the ocean currents.

One day he was swimming around with his knife tied around his hips. He noticed it was very stormy above the surface and he hoped no human would be hurt in the bad weather. He had seen the mermaids and mermans deliver countless amount of human bodies up the to beaches to be discovered. The thought made him tear up. He just hoped his favourite one wouldn't get hurt.

He hadn't known much about the sailor. Though Jimmy would often sit on the rocks and watch him. Everyday in the distance. He would blush at the sight of the sailor going about the ship, doing his job. Sometimes lifting crates, sometimes being drunk. It was an amusing sight.

There was one time though, that he saw Jimmy.

It was a drunk party on the ship and the sailor was leaning on the side of the ship, looked out at the ocean and drinking wine from the bottle.

Jimmy had been watching from the same rock, a good distance away. He laughed as he watched them all drunk dance. And it was then that he was drawn to the side one. He felt his red eyes crash with a pair of green eyes. The man drunkly smiled as he blushed. Though Jimmy was blushing more.

"Hey!" He called out.

Jimmy gasped. A human was trying to communicate with a merman.

"You look cute!" the sailor yelled.

"T-thank you!" Jimmy called back, waving. "I'd say the same about you but you're handsome. And drunk."

The man laughed. "So what's your name?"

"J-Jimmy Casket! And yours?"

"My names.. Wait.. I knew it a minute ago.."

Jimmy giggled.

"Oh that's right!" the man laughed. "My name is Gavin Toast!"

'So that's your name, my sailor.. Gavin..' Jimmy thought, smiling.

"Aye man!" someone put their hand on Gavins shoulder. "Who are you talking to?"

Jimmy gasped and dived in the water.

"I'm talking to that cute merman over there!" Gavin pointed out at the rock.

"No one is there, Gavin. I think you've had a bit too much of the wine." The man laughed.

"Maybe.." Gavin laughed back, before passing out on the deck.

Ever since that day, Jimmy had been looking out and watching that sailor. He had been looking out for him and making sure he was safe.

And tonight.. Was a very stormy night.

Jimmy sat in his reef, worried for the sailor. He knew it would be a rocky ride. He just hoped his Gavin would be okay. He watched as the ship above rocked around. He swam up a bit, wanting to make sure it was okay.

Above, on the ship, the young sailor was rocked around. He had to keep a grip on the side.

"Sailor Gavin!" someone yelled.

"Yes Captain?" he called back over the sound of the storm.

"You need to move these crates of treasure down into the pit! With the other ones."
