(Long title. The continuation)
The next day at school, Ghost was walking around when he a group of four girls stopped him.
He tried to smile. "Hey. Can I get past?"
"Why?" one asked.
"Because I need to-"
"Hush girls," Katie smirked at Ghost. "He needs to see his boyfriend."
"My what?" Ghost stammered. His face fell and a light blush covered his cheeks.
"You heard me." she stood a step forward. "Your boyfriend, Johnny Toast."
Ghost backed up. "We aren't dating. We are just really good friends."
"Yeah, yeah. The you two are really good friends. So good that you, I don't know, make out behind the restaurant."
"Y-how do y-you kn-k-k-know?!" Ghost whimpered.
"I saw it." She pushed him back and showed him her phone.
Ghost stared in horror.
The screen. It showed a picture of him and Toast kissing. Both if them were blushing. They were mostly hidden by the darkness, but you could still see who they were.. And what they were doing.
Ghost shook his head, tears threatening to fall. He stared at the screen, speechless.
"Here's how it will go," Katies smirk grew. "You're going to break up with him."
"A-am I?"
"Yes. Or else I will send this photo to everyone in the college."
"You're bluffing!"
"I don't bluff..and speak of him, here he comes."
Toast walked over and stood beside Ghost. "What's going on?" he asked.
"Ah, Johnathan."
"Johnny." he corrected.
"Ghost has something to tell you, don't you Ghost?" she asked, looking smug. The rest of her group were giggling.
Toast turned to Ghost. "Do you? What is it?"
Ghost couldn't find the words. Tears fell down his cheeks.
"He doesn't want to be seen with you anymore." one said.
Toast looked at Ghost with hurt eyes. "Is this true, Ghost?"
"I.. I'm sorry.. Johnny."
Toast stood there frozen. He knew something was wrong. Something was off.
"Oh.. I.. See.."
Katie walked over and hugged Toast. She started to comfort him. Making Ghost feel guilty.
An idea suddenly came into Toasts head.
"If that's the case then," he held Katie's hips. "I don't wish to see you behind the school."
Ghost nodded, tears blurring his vision.
Katie smiled and held Toasts head, leaning forward and kissing him. Toasts eyes widened. He slowly closed them. But Ghost noticed something.
He wasn't kissing back.
He gently pushed her away.
"Ghost. I think it's best if you go now." he said, winking at him.
Ghost nodded and ran off.
****
Ghost ran up to Toast and hugged him. They were behind the school.
They pulled back and stared at each other, before kissing softly. The stopped slowly, making eye contact again, before moving back in for another kiss. More forceful. More heated. Toast moaned a bit, gripping Ghosts hair and pulling him up on his tip toes. Ghost gripped his shoulders tightly and blushed darkly.
"What was.. that.. about?" Toast breathed once they had pulled away.
"Katie.. She.. Saw us.. Making out.. And she.. Got.. A photo on her phone. She threatened to send it to your team and the whole college."
"WHAT?!"
Ghost nodded. "I'm sorry."
Toast shook his head, kissing his forehead. "It's not your fault."
They heard a cough. Both turned their heads.
Katie, along with the whole team and most of the school stood there. Someone put a bright light on them.
They were exposed.
Katie laughed. "You. Johnny Toast. You're gay. That we can understand. But why did you choose Ghost?"
Ghost stepped back. Toast stood in front of him.
"So what?" Toast held Ghosts hand and yelled. "So what if I'm gay? Love is love! I am still captain of the team. And if you want to get rid of me, that's fine! I love sport. But," he teared up a bit. He squeezed Ghosts hand tightly. "I love Johnny Ghost more!"
Ghost gasped.
The crowd started laughing.
Katie pressed the send button.
And that's where the reputation ended.
Toast growled, feeling more annoyed.
"Kiss! Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!" the crowd chanted.
They got their phones out.
Ghost turned to face Toast.
"You want us to kiss?!"
The crowd laughed.
"I love you, Ghost."
"I love you too, Toast."
Toast grabbed Ghosts collar and pulled him up, kissing him.
The crowd fell silent.
Then some response.
"Awh! That's so cute." someone said.
"They are so adorable!" another said.
"No!" Katie snapped. "You're all meant to be hating them! They are gross!"
"You're the only gross one!" someone yelled.
Toast growled a bit, stepping forward and kissing Ghost harder. He pulled back and smiled. He laughed at Ghosts blush. Ghost was just frozen, gripping onto Toasts arms and a blush stuck on his face.
The two held each other tightly.
They were in love. Love doesn't care about gender. Love doesn't care about sex. Love doesn't care about distance. Love doesn't care about what other people think.
Because for these two, love was the best thing ever.
Do you ever just type an ending and sit there like
Why did I do that?
So then, there it is, BellaJaneStar. The continuation. I hope you enjoyed it.
I will see you all next time. There should be another up today.
Bye my lovely bird people.
