I ran to the garage and took out my vintage sliver blue bike with the red and white streamers I snapped on my helmet and grabbed my pink and gray polkadot backpack I put in my camera and portfolio with my I phone X (The author has this phone) and my school books and planner I really wish I could go to high-school at the Arsine Art school they give one way scholarship to Mande but if I try I get into Mande on my own. Turning to Jackson I put his black fire flamed helmet on his blonde hair I hopped on my bike and Jackson put on his backpack and put his arms around my neck . I started to bike past l'amour vrai avenue 
" you really are old school I'm starting to think you live in the 1950" said Jackson as he took Cheetos out of my backpack I glared at him and he gave me a sly smile and then I dropped Jackson off at Page Elementary and started to head to my school Page High school I parked my bike in the stand and walked In my best friend Nina who was a Korean and Cuban female she had recently dyed her hair blonde came over and gave me a hug people say were using and yang I'm pretty outgoing but she a ball of energy I swear just a second of her smile and the world would have infinite energy
" your crushing me" I said between breaths she smiled sheepishly and she let go of me I started to breathe again
" you won't believe what happened in Mr.Sigh class today" she said shaking me he was an African American teacher and the strictest teacher in the whole school but I didn't mind because he taught math my favorite subject
"What happened" I said looking at my portfolio I was nervous today was the day I would qualify and be able to compete for the internship I was so caught up in my thoughts that I forgot Nina was talking to me and next thing I know I was being splashed with a water bottle
" are you even listening to me Avery" Nina said with her arms cross
" sorry I just have a lot on my mind and a lot is riding on this internship so sorry if I'm to busy to be worrying about who broke up with who" I said snapping at her " I'm so sorry I didn't mean it" I said but it was no use because Nina started giving me the silent treatment I gave her my puppy pout and she rolled her eyes giving me a small smile and hug
"Fine I forgive you but this is the last time you take my friendship for granted" I smiled
" so what happened in Mr.Sigh class did Taylor ask you out" I said knowing that Taylor was the only reason she talked about that class
"No there a new student" she said " and before you say anything I heard it from Sally who heard it from Rena best friend cousin who heard it from Navi ex-friend dog owner who heard it from the principal" I stared at her awestruck at how she was able to remember everyone name I nodded my head and took out my camera and Nina gave me a disappointed look
"You need to stop worrying about that internship you're going to have a spa day with me after school got it" I gave her a death glare and she laughed tugging me to mr.Sigh class and when I walked in the sight took my breath away he was so beautiful that I had to take a picture and I did if I had known what that picture led to the love story of me and him I would have taken it a lot faster
