Chapter 15

Jess's pov

Are yall ready to go yet he yelled up to me and Kait we were talking and packing for Texas while Cooper and Jess were downstairs with the kids, we were making plans for while we are there and what we were gonna do while there but i guess we were taking too long for their liking i walked downstairs to see Derek,Jess,Cody, Karlie, Cooper,Mack, and Gannon. Everyone is always here i swear i laughed and walked over to Jess he put him arm around me and kissed my cheek, i smiled and said ready to go now. We loaded up into our cars, i guess Derek had a house down there that most everyone was stay except Cooper, Kait , Jess and I we were staying with my parents since i have not seen them in a while. After the long car ride we finally arrived i was dead tired and i napped the whole way here how is this possible i have no idea why i am always tired maybe because i have a baby that keeps me up all night most times. We pulled into my parents drive way and parked i got out and got Gannon out i walked in hand and hand with Jess Derek following close behind us hello guys my mom said as i came through the door hi Jess?  Uh hi Mrs. Davis she said giving her a hug as you may or may not know Maci and i are now engaged and her and Derek have broken up but have a child together. Wow just lay it all down like that i guess Derek said, i laughed and said yeah pretty much. 

Maci's pov

Maci i think your father and i should go talk to you and Cooper to catch up with you guys and see what else you have not been telling us we excited the room and i handed Gannon to Derek, walking behind Cooper being sure to step on the back of his boots we walked down the hall to my old room i smiled whenever i walked into all the High School Musical posters those were the days my parents sat on the bed Cooper and I on the floor, they looked at Cooper first and said so when were you going to tell us that Kait was pregnant her parents called us the other day and asked if we knew about it, Cooper said well i didn't exactly know she was going to tell them that, well you should not keep these things from us they said. Next they turned and looked at me and as for you missy you never thought to pick up a phone to call and say Derek and you were no longer together we have been awaiting a wedding invitation for almost a year now, and you never ever not once said anything at all about you being pregnant and having Derek's baby, also Jess never ever asked us what we thought of him asking you to marry him at least Derek asked us how we felt about it, see mom we don't tell you these things because you act like this always bitching about shit making us feel bad but maybe if you lived closer than this would not be a problem but i don't always have time to just call you up and say hey this happened or that i don't really care what you think of my relationship or me having a child because it is my life and not yours to live. Cooper laughed and said for once i agree with Maci on everything she just said. I smiled and said look i love you guys but you can't judge how Cooper and I live our lives yes we make mistakes all the time everyday but that's how life works ya know being with Derek was not a mistake but before we broke up he got mad at me everyday and would yell about nothing so it was not like i left him for no reason, i had every right then he moved away i knew i was pregnant but i just couldn't tell him because it felt like any time i opened up my mouth he yelled at me so i just did not even talk to him anymore and we just grew apart. He went to Texas for anger management and i stayed in Montana and eventually once Jess got Coop on his side Jess asked me to be his girlfriend, i moved in with him Karlie and Cody moved into Derek and I's old house and soon Derek came back to sign the papers to sell our house he found out about Gannon and stayed and promised that he would be in his life which i knew that i should have just told him before he had to come back and find out. Once Jess and I had been together for a while we had a PBR event last weekend and he had won and at the end he popped the question i had been waiting to here for a while and asked me to marry him so there is my life in the last year. My mom was in tears by the end because she hadn't known any of this was happened and she wishes she would not have had to miss everything. i hugged her, dad and Coop and told them i loved them i soon walked out to see my baby Jess and Derek i smiled as i went to take Gannon from Derek so that my mom and dad could hold him and get to know him while Jess helped me unpack Derek went to his Texas house while we were unpacking so that he could unlock the door for Karlie and Cody to get all of their stuff moved inside. Man this is a random thought but Derek legit has 3 houses one in Texas one in Montana anf one in his home state Walla Walla Washington, where was he getting all the money to do all of this just a random thought i told Jess he looks at me and says he prolly dealing drugs, i laughed and said you right. Later on that night i set up Gannon's pack and play in my old room that Jess and I were just going to sleep in. Maci i don't wanna sleep next to Zac Efron Jess joked.
