Derek's pov
I had gotten Maci a huge ring to show her i was for real about this and that i really loved her dinner was at Cooper and Kait's house Maci, Jess, and whichever hoe he wanted to bring, and I were invited. Well we better head out i yelled up to Maci who had just gotten ready dressed in a light blue form fitting dress i had gotten her a few months ago she must have been saving it for this dinner or something because she had not wore it before. I just hope she says yes and that she doesn't know that i plan on proposing tonight.
Jess's pov
i chose to not to bring any women that i got on the side tonight to Coopers i just didnt feel like showing up with anyone i didn't truly love and from the sounds of it the one i didn love was going to get proposed to tonight this is so hard me loving Maci and her not loving me back but i am happy for her and Derek if that's who she loves they deserve to be together rather than her be with me and disapoint her own brother who is my best friend but straight up told me that he doesn't want me with his sister and i gotta respect that i guess since he said he wasn't changing his mind about it.
later on that night
Derek's pov
We arrived to Cooper and Kait's to find a lonesome Jess with no date to the dinner. What Jess Lockwood came to a couples dinner without one of his hoes. I am shocked. He just laughed and said ill just hang with my bestie Mack tonight since yall wanna be rude. We ate and made small talk over dinner and Jess not having a date Cooper gives me that its now or never look i smile and stand up looking Maci in the eyes and smiling like crazy.
Jess's pov
Oh damn here it comes i'm gonna be sick
Maci's pov
What is Derek doing i wonder? He stands up and takes my hands smiling like crazy his smile drives me crazy he's so cute, he looks me in the eyes and says Maci will you do me the honor of marrying me? i looked at him and started crying happy tears and say yes of course.
Jess's pov
No my girl just said yes to him.....
