Chapter 19

Karlie and Cody's wedding day

Maci's pov

Today was Karlie's wedding her and i had gotten really close so she asked me to be her maid of honor i was shocked at that because i figured why would she want her brothers ex in her wedding but she did, Cody asked Cooper to be his best man, hes groomsmen where, Cooper, Derek, Jess, and Jess's cousin Thane. Karlies bridesmaids were, Me, Kait, Chey and one of her cousins. I finally got out of bed to go get the dresses we had to have alterations and all done to them and they were finally done today just in time and Cody had just called me to go pick up the tux he had rented and forgot about until today Derek picked up everyone's suits yesterday but Cody's i guess. I made myself something too eat before i was going to head out for the day as i heard tiny little feet coming down the stairs i ran over just to make sure Gannon wouldn't fall and he sat down and ate breakfast to i guess he was coming with me since Jess was still asleep. i changed him out of his PJ's and into sweats and a sweat shirt it was still morning so i figured it would probably be cold gave him breakfast and left a note to Jess saying we left and what we were doing and then we were off for the morning i stopped at starbucks to get something to drink and getting Gannon his favorite drink the Vanilla Bean frap, we arrived at the tux place first i told them who i was picking up for and they soon walked out handing me a black bag with the tux inside Cody had dropped off his card this morning so i paid then left. We pulled into the bridal store that we had the dresses altered at and picked them up we had already had them paid for so i picked them up and left, once i had everything i looked down at my phone to see that Jess had texted and asked me to pick him up some burger king go figure so we stopped there and we were finally on our way home. I pulled up to see that all of the girls were here i guess i was running a little late i walked in to my surprise no freaked out i handed Cody his tux and he headed over to Derek's thanking me as i handed him his card back. I turned around to see that the make up and hair people were here the ranch hands were cleaning out the barn as Karlie had always wanted her wedding at the ranch so that was where we were having it. I was so nervous that everything was not in order since i was their wedding planner but i think it should all be great.

Derek's pov

So Cody are you ready i asked as Cody was getting ready he looked nervous asf which he did not need to be at least my sister will love him unlike his last girl. He laughed and said uhh just a little bit nervous i told him not to be because Maci had everything under control and i knew that she did and that everything would turn out just how they wanted it to be. 

Karli's pov

I was putting the last touches on my look for today i can't believe that today i was marrying my best friend this was a thing that i had been waiting for my whole life, i just can't believe it was finally here. I walked out in front of all my bridesmaids and they were in awe, I hugged each one of them and thanked them for being in the wedding, i personally thanked Maci for all of her help with everything that she did, she smiled back and said she loved me and was thankful to be apart of this i was so thankful for her.

Cody's pov

I was so nervous to see my girl walk down to me we were about to be married and spend the rest of our lives together, here goes nothing i said as the doors came open to allow the the groomsmen and bridesmaids, Maci walked with Jess, Kait with Cooper, Chey with Derek, and Karlies cousin Tionne with Thane. Then the doors opened up wide to show case how gorgeous Karlie looked, she came walking down the isle while her father i smiled at her as she made it to the end where i was standing her father handed her over and said treat her right i know where you live i laughed a little as the preacher told everyone to sit, Karlie and i took each others hands and smiled the preacher said that we have prepared our own vowels which we did, she went first Cody whenever i first laid eyes in you i knew you were so special and that i would want to be with you for the rest of my life, you complete me and make me so happy Cody i am so in love. Next i needed to say my vowels i pulled out the papers i wrote them down because i knew i would be to flustered to remember them, i started Karlie i ahve always had an eye on you but things were different at first once i was able to i per sued being with you you have brought me the best times of my life and i have never been happier than when i am with you i am so in love Karlie after i finished the pastor said anyone who objects the marriage of these two people no one said anything, and he went on you may now kiss the bride he said i kissed Karlie before he could even finish his sentence. 

Maci's pov

I was so happy that all of my hard work paying off Jess walked over to me and said just wait this will  be us in 2 months i smiled and said i have never been happier.
