Arthur stared ahead at the queen ahead of him, he had short black hair and extremely pale skin. There were bags under his eyes and he obviously was very sick. "It's a pleasure to meet you, your highness..." Kiku said as he curtsied politely. Arthur bowed in response "The pleasures all mine."
The two queens turned and made their way through the garden, full of blue roses. The smell of flowers was everywhere and there were servants setting up a tea set in the middle of the garden on a table. As the queens made slowly made their way to the table, Arthur picked a rose and stared at it.
"Is something wrong?" Kiku asked from next to Arthur, staring at the sad look on his face. "Ah... I'm just thinking..." Arthur was far too distant to be healthy. "About what?" Kiku asked as he moved to the table and sat down. Arthur sat across from him and continued to gaze into the flower.
"A man with blue eyes and a face that somehow disguises what he's feeling." Kiku listened to Arthur before sighing "The king is fine, queen Arthur. He's a legend on the battlefield for how fierce he and his line is." Arthur couldn't help but ignore Kiku. He just blankly stared into the flower.
"I want to see him again so bad..." Arthur murmured abruptly while gripping the rose, ignoring the blood that dripped down his hand. "How do you do it..." Arthur didn't understand how Kiku could be away from his king for so long without falling apart.
"You're asking the wrong person... our Jack is the one who loves our King dearly. The king is only my friend..." Kiku said calmly. "Right- god I miss him. I want him more than anything right now... I'm so love sick..." Arthur murmured before he began sobbing, his tears landing in the tea cup.
"Arthur!" Kiku stood and moved over to the other queen, wrapping his arms around him. "It's gonna be ok... shhh. I hear the clubs are already starting to retreat." Kiku said reassuringly as Arthur pulled his glove off and ran a finger over the marking on his hand. The magic sizzled on his skin... he could feel Alfred... how tired he was... how desperate he was to come home.

Alfred breathed heavily as he watched the club soldiers retreat. His limbs all burned and a light cut on his shoulder stung under the light rain. "Aflred!" His Ace called from behind him "Yes?" Matthew bowed before looking up respectively and taking a deep breath "We're nearing the capital... do you want me to take a few spies and scout the castle out. I mean... we haven't heard from Gilbert."
Alfred seemed quiet for a moment "Yes... be careful, and stay out of the way of the guards. And if you see any of the court, leave them and return to me! I'm entrusting you with this job." Matthew nodded and walked away, leaving Alfred in the rain. He refused to return to his tent. He could feel Arthur... how scared he was... how desperate he was for Alfred to come home.
