Sam's P.O.V.

I have to admit I really did miss him.

Bryan and I were always goofing around when we played together. I guess that's why I had a crush on him. He made me laugh and he was fun to be around. Also if it wasn't for him I probably would have quit my first game with them and I probably wouldn't be playing soccer now. I remember the day like it was yesterday.

Flashback...

It was my first game with my new team. My first practice with them was a few days ago. I can't remember their names. None of them really talked to me they all talked to each other about things like school and other people. I was the freak standing alone. I just told myself to get use to it because it would probably be like this for the rest of the season. I'm really nervous. I haven't played an actually soccer game in a while and if I play anything like I played at practice the other day Coach might as well keep me on the bench. I might as well just quit.

"Good luck, baby. You'll do great. Talk to them they'll come around." My parents reassured me. I walked to the field with a sick feeling. It looked like I was the last one here...great. I walked passed all them as I went to put my bag down by the bench. Coach said hi to me then introduced me to his daughter, Lex. She said hi then went back to her friends. Coach told me to go out and stretch with the team. Half of the team was taking shots on net while the other half was in a circle stretching. I stood there like a moron trying to figure out what to do.

"Hey. Come join our stretching circle." A guy said to me. He was sitting on the ground stretching his legs. I went over to him. He's kinda cute. He has short brown hair, nice brown eyes, and a cute smile.

"Okay." I replied.

"I'm Bryan."

"I'm Sam. It's nice to meet you."

"You too." He replied.

"You ready to play?" He asked.

"Not really. It's been awhile." I replied sitting down on the field next to him stretching my legs.

"You'll be surprised how fast it comes back." He replied.

"Hey. I'm Kelly." The girl next to me said.

"Sam. Nice to meet you." I replied.

"You too. What school do you go to?" She asked.

"I do Cyber School."

"Lucky." She replied. I chuckled.

End of Flashback...

That was a good day. I made two good friends and got a goal.

'SIREN'

Period 2 of the Game...

"GOAL! Phil Kessel!" The crowd went wild. The score now was 3-1 Pittsburgh Penguins.

'SIREN' Second Period was over.

"Hey! We should take a picture by the glass." I said.

"If we have too." He replied. Once a butt load of people left there was a lot of vacant room up by the glass. There was a girl probably around our age sitting two rows from the ice with her parents. I asked her if she would take the picture. She agreed taking my phone. I went next to Bryan, who was already standing in front of the glass. Some of the Pens were still on the ice so it would be a cool background. We stood close. He put his arm around me placing his hand on my shoulder. I put my hand on his back. She took a couple pictures then came towards us with my phone. We thanked her. We were going up the stairs when her mother stopped us.

"You two are cute together." She said.

"Oh we're just friends." I replied.

"That's what I said twenty years ago." She replied. Their daughter sunk down in her seat. I know how you feel kid; my parents do the same thing. We went back up to our seats. As soon as we sat down we started cracking up. We tried to contain it as much as we could since they were only a few rows from us. I turned on my phone and went through the pictures.

"Text me one." He said. I sent him one.

"She's right we are cute together." He said making me punch him in the shoulder. My phone buzzed. I looked at my phone.

        Harry: How's the game?

So what do you think?
