No one's POV:
"Hello Marcie." Takuya whispered in Marceline's ear.
Takuya watched her all night waiting for this moment. The moment that Marceline would let loose so he can make his move. He knew that if Marceline was sober she wouldn't give him the time of day. He waited for her to get drunk and now was the perfect time.
Daniel leaned on the wall and observed. Takuya gave him a nod, signalling Daniel that his job was done. Takuya's arms held Marceline's swaying body. She looked like she was in another world.
"Care to dance with me, Marcie?" He asked.
"Yeah." Of course she would agree. She wasn't in her right mind, but neither was Takuya. He was a little drunk but way more sober than her.
Takuya didn't remove his hands from Marceline's waist as the two danced. In Marceline's head, he was just a hot stranger that asked to dance with her. She was oblivious to the fact that it was the person that irritated her the most had his hands on her waist.
All she could hear clearly was the slow EDM song blasting through the speakers. She could also hear Takuya's voice. The both of them began to get closer the longer they stayed together.
Both were turned on yet frustrated by the friction between them. Takuya was about to burst. All the dirty thoughts going through his mind. He was ready to drop his whole plan and lay out his heart right there.
Takuya had this planned out from the start. He had Antonio hold the party and Daniel to check on her. He had more in store. He was thrown off by arms snaking around his neck. His heart skipped a beat because of how close Marceline was.
"Tell me Marcie," He smirked, "do you believe in fate?"
"Hmm..." Marceline pursed her lips in thought. "To a certain extent."
"Well I think we're meant to be together." Takuya mentally cringed at his choice of words. It sounded better in his head. "You look beautiful tonight."
"Thank you. Listen, I'm going to go and look for my friend now. It was nice dancing with you." Marceline pulled away from Takuya. This made him frown deeply.
"It's Kenji isn't it." He murmured.
He always felt jealous when he saw Marceline and Kenji together. All this time she would keep to herself, but now she decides to let his best friend in. His plan backfired on him but he didn't give up. He loved Marceline and would do anything in his power to get her.
Takuya pulled her back into his chest before she could walk away from him. Marceline looked into his eyes and realized who she was dancing with. The pink lights flashed on Takuya's face so she could see him. Her face turned into one of annoyance.
"Let me go, Takuya." She ordered.
Takuya shook his head. A smirk was plastered on his face. "Just one night." He said.
She cocked her head to the side in confusion. "What do you mean, 'just one night'?"
"Just this one night, let me show you how much I love you."
A small laugh escaped her plump lips. "Shut up, you don't love me."
Takuya's face grew serious. Just the thought of Marceline doubting his love pissed him off. He gave her hips a quick squeeze.
"Marcie, I'm serious. Don't you think that it's a little more than a coincidence that we met here? You claim to hate me, yet here we are. Dancing together in this filthy place." Takuya caressed her cheeks. "Don't doubt something that's meant to be, Marceline."
Takuya was luring Marceline like a moth to a flame. The alcohol in Marceline clouded her sober thoughts. A part of her mind screamed no while another part of her mind and her body screamed yes. Takuya could see the internal argument going on in Marceline's eyes.
"I see you're having trouble understanding." Takuya leaned in her ear and whispered, "let me help you out."
Takuya gazed into Marceline's dark brown eyes. He leaned in until their lips collided. Marceline didn't kiss back. Although it crossed her mind to respond she didn't.
"Let me take care of you." Takuya murmured.
"Marceline!" A voice called.
Marceline backed away from Takuya and smiled as she saw Kenji not too far. Takuya's face contorted into one of hate and annoyance. He was so close but he had to ruin it. Marceline ignored Takuya and went over to Kenji, who had his arm around her shoulder.
"Cameron and Daniel are having a drinking contest upstairs, want to watch?" Kenji asked.
"Sure."
They disappeared upstairs while Takuya was left alone. He went in the kitchen and grabbed a beer. He was frustrated. He promised he would hold back but not anymore. Takuya took one last sip of his beer. He laughed at his own thoughts.
"The game continues, Marcie."
