"Good morning Marcie!" Takuya sang.
I ignored him and tried to go back to sleep. Takuya sighed and snatched the covers off of me. My body was greeted by the cold air. I can tell this is going to be an everyday thing. He tackled me into a hug and kissed my cheek. I cringed at the contact.
"Get off of me, asshat." I snapped.
"Your insults are so cute." He giggled. "I just came to get you so we can have breakfast together."
I sighed heavily. "Fine."
He gasped dramatically at my answer. Takuya let go of me and rolled off of the bed. I couldn't help but laugh at his hopeful face.
That's right, take the bait. You're still a dumbass deep down no matter how clever you think you are. Takuya stopped his cheering and looked at me.
"However, I still have to restrain you somehow." He said.
"W-What?"
"Come on Marcie, did you really think I would let you walk around freely now? You did try to stab me with a fork yesterday." He pointed.
"Fair point." I sighed in defeat.
A creepy smile adorned his face at my answer. Takuya pushed the nightstand and sat on the floor. My eyes widened when he pulled off on of the floorboards and took out a pair of handcuffs and chains. He had that hiding in my room the whole time? I could have used that to escape if I knew.
"This was always hidden as an emergency like if you got too out of control, or if you wanted to get freaky." He explained with a wink.
He turned me around and put the handcuffs on me. He kept the chains in his hand and his other hand guided me to the dining room. I sat down as instructed while Takuya used the chain to connect the handcuffs to the wall behind me. I still had room to move my arms, but my wrists hurt a bit.
Takuya went in the kitchen to get the food he prepared. My eyes were glued to the table. All I have to do is play suck up and I'll get out of here. I'll find Amara and put Takuya's ass in jail.
Takuya came back and placed my plate in front of me. There were pancakes, scrambled eggs, and bacon. It looked delicious. He put down a cup of orange juice next to the plate with a smile. He sat across from me and began eating as did I.
"How is it?" He asked.
"It's okay." I said.
"Just okay? It's not delicious or amazing?" He pouted.
"Don't push it." I took another bite of my pancakes. "Why do you love me?" I asked.
"Too many reasons to explain in just one day. You're smart, clever, beautiful, creative, and so much more." His voice was a little deeper when he spoke.
My cheeks grew warm by his compliments. I quickly shook myself out of my daze. I shouldn't be feeling like this towards Takuya. It's just plain wrong. I continued to eat without responding.
"What would you say if I told you I could bring Amara here to talk to you?" He questioned.
I took my last gulp of juice before looking at him in curiosity and astonishment. "I would love that."
A smirk appeared on his face. "Well Marcie, I called Yuto to bring Amara here tomorrow briefly for you two to talk."
"Thank you." I whispered.
I'm happy that I get to see my little sister again, but I'm still mad at her for practically giving me away to Takuya. She probably has a good reason for it like if she was threatened. A part of me hoped Amara didn't do it out of stupidity.
"Marceline." Takuya called. His dark brown eyes stared deeply into mine.
"Y-Yes?"
"How can I make you love me?"
"You can't make someone love you." I scoffed. "Besides, I love no one except Amara and my dad."
"I'll be on that list too." He said.
"You don't have a chance in hell."
"I beg to differ." He took a sip of his coffee before placing it back down. "I'm willing to do anything to make you love me."
"Then die." I spat.
Takuya laughed dryly. The longer I'm with him the more I realize he's completely different than how he is in school. Was that all an act to cover up his crazy side?
"Keep it up and everything you love will be stripped away. Yes, I will commit sin for you, Marcie. I've already killed three people. I'll kill three hundred more if that's what it takes to win your love."
Takuya was standing and leaning over the table. His eyes turned cold and dark. I shuddered when my eyes met his.
"You're insane." I whispered.
His hand caressed my cheek lovingly. "Only for you."
He took both of our empty plates and disappeared in the kitchen. I was all alone in the dining room lost in my thoughts. What just happened was stuck in my mind. He's really serious to the point where it's terrifying.
"I'm living with a psychopath." Tears were welling up in my eyes. I haven't cried so much in my life. I've been crying everyday because of Takuya. I swear I'll get out of here the first chance I get.
The chains that kept me in one place were removed. I immediately stood up. Takuya rested his hand on my back.
"I know you're dying to do your hygiene routine, so I'll take you to the bathroom."
