I looked across the table at Takuya. He was staring at me again. After another month of being here, I was able to walk around freely. One more step closer to getting out of here. I just need to get a hold of those keys or a phone.
Takuya always keeps his phone and keys on him. I just need to find a way. I'm scared that whenever the time comes to escape I can't. It feels like the longer I stay the more I get tangled in Takuya's web of mad love.
Takuya made me move out of the room I was in and made me sleep with him in his room which was bigger. He calls it "our room." Takuya is more touchy now. He refuses to go a day without more than one kiss. There are also times when he would try to take it further resulting in me pushing or slapping him. He only laughs.
I know that one day those kisses won't be enough. Frustration will boil over and I'll be in even more deep shit. I plan to leave before that happens.
"Tell me, Marcie." Takuya rested his head on his hands. "Are you falling for me yet?"
"Falling for you?" I scoffed. "Never in a million years."
He smirked knowingly. "That is a lie, my dear."
"What makes you say that?" I countered.
"The look in your eye has started to change. Usually, you only show fear, anger, and annoyance when you look at me. Now I see a little sparkle in your eyes. Perhaps it's love?"
"Don't get your hopes up, Takuya." I scowled.
"After tonight, you'll think of no one but me." He smiled and clasped his hands together. "Just thinking about all of the fun I have in store for us drives me wild."
I felt uneasy when he said that. Whatever he has in store must not be good. The look in his eyes proves my point.
"Why?" I asked in a hushed voiced.
"What do you mean, 'why'?" He tilted his head.
"Why are you like this? What turned you into this? Why me of all people? JUST WHY?!"
I felt like I was starting to lose my sanity as well. If I stay here any longer I fear I might become crazy like Takuya. What made him like this? Surely it can't just be because of me.
"I already told you why I love you." He said.
"You're not answering it completely. I don't care about your love for me. I want a straight answer on why you're this way."
Takuya pursed his lips together. He picked up the fork and played with it. Almost like it was a way of calming himself before his temper gets out of control.
"The past doesn't matter." He said. "What happened in my past that made me who I am doesn't matter. You're the only thing I care about in this shitty world besides my family."
"You still didn't answer my question." I grumbled.
"Drop it!" He growled.
"Okay." I squeaked. He began laughing causing me to frown. "What is so funny?"
"You. Back then you were so cold and harsh, and now it looks like I've broken you down like a folding chair." He placed his fork down. "Only a matter of time until I hear those three words escape those gorgeous lips of yours."
My hands twitched as I got the urge to punch the life out of him. If he knows everything about me, he knows my anger goes through the roof when someone constantly pushes my buttons. I hate Takuya. If so, why is my body reacting to him weirdly all of a sudden?
Takuya stood up and went around the table to my side. He took my hands in his and lifted me up from the seat. His right hand found its way in my hair as the other snuck to my waist.
