Back story: you had been best friends with Chris and his brother Scott, you always had feelings for Chris but never acted on it, but things definitely changed when you were with your current boyfriend. Warning Domestic Violence references

"Babe have you seen my keys", you asked your bf who didn't reply as he was to busy playing the Xbox. You came down to the living room and seen the keys on the coffee table, so you picked them up, as you bent over to get them, you didn't realise your head was in the way, and your boyfriend got his hand and pushed you hard in the face. "Do not get in the way again", his tone of voice was very angry, you gulped and just nodded, "by babe" you said quietly and you left the house. You hopped in the car and made your way to see Scott for coffee. You were still a bit shaken when walking through the door, you looked around and seen him "Y/N over here!" Scott said excitedly, "hey Scotty, I missed you!" (Scotty was the nickname that you gave Scott when you were little, and he gave you the name Sugar plumb as you loved the nutcracker movie and ballet, always wanting to be the sugar plumb princess), "Sugar plumb, I missed you too! What have you been doing and how's the boyfriend?", "I've just been very busy Scotty, trying to work and fit in auditions, and yeah he's ok..." you slowly just trailed off, Scott knew something was up, "well I got something I would like to ask you Sugar plumb," he said all chirpy, "shoot Scotty", "would you like to come over for lunch on the weekend, we all would like to see you again and Chris particularly!, you can bring your boyfriend," "I would love to, I will have to see about what he wants to do though," you said quietly, that gave Scott an idea that something was going on. After coffee you went back home, you couldn't shake the feeling that something was going to happen, and you knew what was about to go down. "Where have you been!?, I have been worried sick!" He slapped you across the cheek, he was so shocked that he did it, then that shock turned into anger, "I went for coffee with Scott Evans, I told you remember, anyway we have been invited to the Evan's for lunch on the weekend," you said quietly. "Whatever" He said and you went up stairs. Meanwhile Scott was back home, and was talking to Chris and his mum, "so I met up with Y/n, she seemed different", "how so darling?" Lisa asked, Chris grew concerned, as he always had feelings for the girl and everyone could see it. "I think this boyfriend of hers is hurting her, she isn't the same girl we knew that was full of life and always full of smiles". Chris's face suddenly went to anger, Lisa put her hand on his arm to calm him down. "Chris maybe you should approach her about it, you were always good at getting her to talk?" Scott suggested, after the conversation Chris sent you a text message

Hey shorty, sorry I couldn't come to get coffee with you and Scott, hope to see you on the weekend, so we can catch up? :)
Y/N:
Hey hotstuff, it's cool and hopefully we can catch up, tell Scotty thanks for today. :)

Chris smiled at his phone, then looked through all the photo albums that had the pictures of all everyone in, he slowly looked through it and seen the one of when you were 16 and he was 24, you had your arms around his neck and were on his back, Scott was there next to you guys making a love heart symbol, Carly and shanna were smiling in the picture. Scott then came in "hey man are you alright?" He asked, "yeah I am just looking through these and can't stand the thought of her being hurt".
Back at your place you were doing the same as you looked at the pictures that you had, you felt so happy, and began to rethink your relationship, you looked at the bruise that was forming on your cheek, tears started to slowly fall. You then knew what you need to do so you decided to pack a bag full of clothes, and write a letter to your boyfriend explaining that you needed space, you left in on the bed and decided to back to your old house, the one that your family still owned, next to the Evans. As you drove you thought everything through, you had to end it, the bruises on your back were brutal, your wrist was sore from trying to fight back, now there was your cheek, as soon as you pulled up into the driveway, you turned off the lights to the car and parked in the garage, the garage door was so loud when it opened, it got Lisa's attention, she went to the living room window and looked out, she seen you, she knew what happened, but she didn't inform the boys. As soon as you got in the door you went straight to your old room and fell asleep on the bed. You didn't hear your phone go off with calls and messages, you only awoke to the sound of the door, you slowly went down and seen Lisa standing there with a smile, "Lisa how did you know I was here?" "I heard that garage, Y/N, I'm worried about you, and now I can see my vibes and Scott was right". She said, "it's ok, as I am ending it, I can't take it anymore, I just needed an old photo to remind me of who I am, do the boys know I'm here?" You asked, "no just me, and I'm happy you are safe, you know I'm always here for you", "thanks Lisa". It was finally the weekend, you had been a bit of a mess through the week due to breaking up with him, but you finally felt free, you decided to wear something pretty and comfortable to lunch, which also covered the bruises. You headed over the Evans's house and knocked on the door, so many memories came flooding back, next thing you heard Carly squeal "Y/N you're hear!!" And she wrapped her arms around you to give you a hug, you suddenly flinched in pain, from where she touched you but you hid it so well.
As you walked through the house you heard kids running around, they were Carly's kids, "Sugar plumb!" Scott yelled out and quickly came towards you, "hey Scotty", Lisa came out and said hello, before getting back to preparing lunch, "Mum told me that you and your ex split, you ok?" He asked "I'm more then ok Scooter, better then before, is Chris around?" "No he just ducked out to the store to get a few things." He answered, " ok I will just go put this in his room", you see as you were going through your things at your old place you found a letter that you wrote to Chris just before he accepted the role as captain America, and got famous, explaining to him that you loved him and you would wait for him, right at the last minute you had got scared to give it to him, and you kept it, the years went on but you figured out your feelings never changed, now here you are 7 years later attempting the same thing again, although this time you were certain that you were going to give it to him, you were no longer that 18yr old girl, you were a 25 year old young woman who was about to tell the guy she had feelings for, that she had them and could no longer deny it. Just as you walked into his room and were about to leave it on his bed, the door opened; "Y/N? What are you doing up here?" He asked, "uh I just needed to leave you this and I needed space to breathe", he suddenly pulled you close and just hugged you, you winced at the pain, and tried to ignore it, he shut his door for privacy. "I have a feeling that I know what this letter is about", low and behold he pulled one out of his pocket, "this one is for you", and he handed it to you, as you opened it and read it tears started to fall, as it wasn't one sided, chris walked over and lifted your chin up looked into your eyes, "I will always be here for you" he said before kissing you softly on your lips, suddenly his door swung open, and Scott screamed through the house as he watched you kiss his brother "Sugar Plumb and Chris are finally together!!" As you both blushed, chris said "I'm sorry he hurt you", "it's ok, none of it matters anymore, it led me back to you" you replied, right then and there you knew you were always safe with Chris.
