You and Chris had been trying for a baby, for a little while now, you knew it would happen but you weren't quite sure when, so you decided to take a new movie role, while he was on broadway, so you flew home nearly every weekend that you could. As you were filming you started to feel a little sick but you passed it off as not eating a lot as you had been feeling very nauseous lately. One of your co stars came up to you and said "hey are you alright, you don't look so..." before she could finish you ran to the nearest trash can. "Geez what did you eat?" She then said, "nothing much" you responded, the director over heard this and decided to send you home, well back to your apartment that you rented while you were filming, as soon as you got in you locked the door and climbed into bed, you were tired but you called your husband so you could hear his voice; "hey baby aren't you meant to be working?" He said softly, "I got sick at work baby so they sent me home", you responded, "what do you mean by sick?" He said in a panicked tone, " I kinda haven't been eating a lot due to feeling nauseous and I kinda lost my stomach a few hours ago" you responded, "I'll be ok I'm sure it's just a bug", "I'm going to fly up to you the next chance I get, and we are going to a doctor ok?" He said, "ok, I will agree to that but only if I'm still sick in 3 days." You guys said goodbye and you fell asleep.

A few days later you were still sick, and Chris was on his way to you, he picked up your favourite take out as he thought it might make you feel better, as he walked in the door and put down the food, you came up and wrapped your arms around him, before you knew it you were crying, he just held you "sweetheart what's wrong?", you responded "nothing I'm just so happy your here"; "I thought you might like sushi, I picked it up on the way here." "Thanks baby, you're the best!" You exclaimed, as soon as he got the plates out, you opened it and your stomach suddenly felt like the ocean, you had to quickly run to the toilet, he followed you and held your hair back as you were sick. "Hey Y/N, how long have you been feeling like this for?" He asked, in between vomiting you answered "a couple of weeks now why baby?" "I just have a hunch what might be going on, when was your last period?" You really had to think "I actually don't remember, do you think we are..?" You sounded excited, "I'll be back baby" Chris grabbed his keys and headed to the car, driving to the pharmacy picked up what was needed. You took the box, read the instructions and did the test, it was a long 3 minutes but when the timer went off you pulled him into the bathroom with you. "Oh my god, Chris I'm not seeing things am I?" You said, "no baby you're not, we are having a baby!" He picked you up and you were so excited, "we need to see a doctor to find out how far along we are!" The next two days were long but you managed to see a doctor, as you were waiting for them you talked about when you should tell the families. "Mrs Evans?" The doctor called, you and Chris walked in to the office and you sat down on the examination chair, Chris was beside you, the doctor told you to lift your shirt up as he put the gel on your stomach and ran the device over you. "Mr and Mrs Evans, there is your baby. You are around 13 weeks already," He said, "how did we not notice?" You asked, "when your busy people like you both are, you don't always notice, but everything is normal and looking healthy, congratulations, I will go print the pictures for you". The doctor then left the room chris was so happy, "now all we gotta do is tell the families" you said all chirpy "but first your work as I don't want you doing any stunts", the protective husband and father to be came out and you smiled.
Once you told your families they were so excited, and you both new that this baby was going to be loved so much not by you and it's father, but by all it's grandparents, aunties, uncles and cousins, you both couldn't be happier.
