You and Chris had been together for about a year and a half now, and you were living half of the year in Boston and the other half in Australia as that's where you were born and raised. This particular time you had to fly back to your family on your own for a family emergency and were now on your way back, you were gone for 3weeks and it was the longest 3 weeks of your life and his.

While at the airport waiting for your flight you were recognised for playing your character on the hit new Netflix series marvels "the Black sparrow", which you had met Chris through as he wanted to direct and produce it with Scarlett, you had grown quite close to all your cast and crew considering you were the lead actress.

Oh wow! This has been the longest 3 weeks of my life, I can't wait to get back home. Suddenly a 6 yr old girl and her 4 yr old brother came up to you "hi, are you the black sparrow?" She asked smiling at you, "yes I am sweetheart, what's your name?" You asked "arabella and this is Colin my brother, we love your show", you couldn't help but smile at them as you got down to their level, you heard cameras flashing and straight away you knew it was the press, you knew that they were going to have a field day with this but you didn't care, you seen the kids family waiting nervously in the corner and you called them over, " we are so sorry for them bothering you", the children's mother immediately answered, "it's no problems at all and they weren't bothering me," you noticed the family had a few more children that were looking sad that you paid attention to arabella and Colin so you asked them "would you like a photo with me?", they asked "all of us? As we can't..." you cut them off "yes all of you and I will take care of it, give me 2minutes", you seen one of the paparazzi who looked fairly new at his job and you called him over, you spoke to him and he agreed to take the photos for you and the family, after the photos were done he then took their details so he could send the prints to them. Soon you had boarded your flight and were on your way, during the flight you couldn't help but think about Chris and the good deed you did for that family.
Chris's Pov
"Scarlett how are we doing in here?" I am so excited to see my girl after 3 long weeks and her being half way across the world, Dodger, Caz and Thor also missed their mummy, next thing I hear "Chris settle down, she doesn't land for a few more hours", Scarlett answers "besides man Seb, Anthony and I are picking her up for you," Jeremy said, "okay I'm just super excited", suddenly Sebastian's notification tone on his phone went off, "ah Chris? You might want to see this" he said with a great smile, I turned and came to his phone, I see her and the headline says "marvels the black sparrow star went out of her way to make people smile", I couldn't help but smile when I read it, it was an amazing article that was written and for once the paparazzi spoke the truth, "you picked a keeper their Chris" Scarlett gently spoke and I knew she was the right one for me then and there, I was going to make her mine for life because I knew I loved her heart and her, she was definitely my one and only.
"Earth to Chris," Seb said while waving his hands at my face, I look at him "we are going to get her now, everything is done", Seb said, "thanks guys". With that they left "hey Scarlett?" "Yes Chris?" She answered, "I'm going to ask her to marry me, she's the one", Scarlett smiled.

Y/n Pov
Finally the flight is over, I can't wait to see him, as I'm coming down the escalator at the airport my smile drops as I don't see him, I feel disappointed, I check my phone and only a message from Jeremy saying that Chris was held up and he asked if Anthony, Seb and him could pick me up from the airport, he then said they were waiting down at the front, I came out and seen them "hey princess" Mackie yelled, as too him his nickname for me was princess, Seb hugged me and so did Jeremy, and Mackie got left with the bags. As we hoped in the car "hey guys what held Chris up?" "Can't tell you birdy" Jeremy sassed, "sure hawkass, Seb you and Mackie need to tell me!" "Chill princess you will see in time" Anthony chuckled, as you slowly drifted off for a little bit of sleep, you heard Seb on the phone "yeah we got her, she's just drifted off to sleep a bit and Mack attack is petting her like a cat, yep see you soon". The car stopped and Mackie woke me gently, Jeremy got my bags and we all headed up to the apartment. As I walked through I heard welcome home squeals from Scarlett and her daughter, the dogs all came running out and finally chris, he picked me up and spun me around, "I am never letting you go again!, I was going to wait a bit to ask you this but once I read the article I knew Y/n Y/m Y/n will you marry me?" He got down on one knee, you smiled "yes Christopher Robert Evans I will marry you!" Scarlett took the photos, "I didn't expect that", Mackie sighed, "we did" they all replied, let's just say the welcome home party turned into an engagement party, that night fireworks were everywhere, you couldn't be more happier.
