You couldn't believe what he just said, he fought so hard to win you over, and be with you now he just gave up. "I should have known not to get involved with someone like you, who just cares about image and who won't fight anymore.." you said letting a few tears out down your cheeks. "Y/n wait", he said getting up to try and stop you from walking out the door. He grabbed your wrist , " be honest, your ashamed of me, so just let me go Chris." Like that you just left and let it all out.

A few years later you still wondered what would have happened if you both had faught for the relationship more, but you remembered he was ashamed of you and your choice of career. You decided then and there that you were going to show him what he was missing and what you could actually do, so you set up a meeting with marvel studios to pitch your series idea and script to them and you were shocked with the results.

Just as you were walking out of the meeting room, with Kevin and a few others. You seen him and the rest of the cast coming towards you, he stopped, "Y/N?" He said, you were unrecognizable, with your dark hair, natural makeup and dressed in corporate clothes. The other cast members were just looking at you both, Kevin spoke "Y/N, we will be in touch for the project, and you will be able to have input on the characters for the show, you will also be able to help them grasp what their characters are going through", "look forward to hearing from you then Kevin", you responded, "oh hi Chris", and you gave him the cold shoulder walking out.

You had started working with your team to find the right fit for each character, the only one that you couldn't find was the main character Tasia Romanoff, as no one quite fit the role and looked similar to scarlett johansson's black widow, you let out a defeated sigh, when John Favrau told you to read the part to him and describe how the character should be. He got Kevin to come down, and explained the situation to him, before getting you to read the lines again. You definitely didn't expect them to say that Tasia was definitely your character to play as she was exactly you, and what you wanted in an actor. You stood there stunned and then said alright to the role, they decided to see how your chemistry was with another actor, what a surprise they chose Chris to read with you. You both switched on professional, and you could feel the sparks like they had never left.

You asked puzzled, "no, I'm so sorry for what happened back then," "okay, where did you want me to meet you?" You questioned, "I'll pick you up at 7 and wear something nice, are you still at the same address?" "Ah no, here I'll give you my number and text you the address as it gets closer," with that you gave him your number and both left.

Soon enough your doorbell rang, you panicked on the inside, when you opened it, you seen him standing there, with your favorite flower, a single long stemmed rose. "Ah this is for you," chris spoke softly, you smiled and said "you remembered? After all these years?" He took his hand and gently cupped your cheek looking into your eyes, "I never forgot", with that he took your hand and you both left.

Chris asked, "I've been good, finished my degree in teaching, and now pursuing writing, and unexpectedly acting, what about you how's your career going?". "It's really good, I thought I'd finished with marvel, but since I read your script, I want back in, more specifically I would like to be apart of your world again if you will have me.." he trailed off, " what happened between us hurt, you being ashamed of me was a whole other level Chris, but I will admit I should have made more of an effort too," you took his hand and put your hand in his, "but how do we do this? How do we redo our relationship", he asked "we don't redo it, we start again, after all we have both changed", you spoke softly, after dinner you went for a nice walk in a beautiful park, holding hands as you crossed a bridge over a small stream, he turned you around to face him, as you looked deeply into his eyes he came down and kissed you softly. Being with him was like being in a fairytale again.
