At that time, Lord Sri Krishna and Arjun were passing through the same forest were Kalindi was meditating. In some time they were able to hear her chanting the lords name
Arjun asked Krishna, "Who is this, who is meditating in this thick forest?" Krishna didn't say anything but went in the direction of the sound. Arjun could not understand anything, but he stood where he was. In due time, Krishna returned, but not alone. He returned with a beautiful damsel. Arjun was flabbergasted so Krishna explained him that her name was Kalindi and she was performing austerities to obtain Lord Vishnu as her husband.
Thus, Krishna took Kalindi to Dwarka and soon made her his queen..
