urprise - Arjun's point of view!!!
Arjun's POV
"I couldn't unlove you Arjun...I tried a lot and now I know why, because I never wanted to," I was appalled by her confession. She tried to unlove me? Was that even necessary after all that I did to her?
She could have easily hated me. It was simple.
"Why did you do this to me?" And this question just broke my heart.
It wasn't at all planned. What started as a mere jealousy turned into a full blown hatred.
"Tell me Arjun," she demanded while her eyes were moist.
I closed my eyes in frustration, not knowing what to answer, how to explain, what to say and how to make her believe me.
"Amaya," I uttered her name following a complete silence in the room. "Amaya I- Ne-" I couldn't frame my answer properly and so I huffed in anger.
Instead of answering, I simply took one long stride towards her, pulled her insanely close to me making our bodies collide, our lips just an inch away and our noses pressing into each other just like our foreheads and said, "Would you believe me if I say that I love you,"
She let out a sob instantly and tears rolled down her cheeks while she replied by nodding her head in a strict 'no'.
An already formed painful lump in my throat exploded and my eyes started showering rains of tears.
"I can do anything to make you believe this," I assured myself more than her, I guess.
"You're getting married tomorrow, do you realise that?"
Joke of the century!
"It took me two years to trace you out and I didn't do it so that I could get married to another woman. I am not that cheap," I said.
She looked at me, baffled at my words, I guess.
"What did you just say? Is it..."
"I'm not getting married in any case Amaya. Do you want to know why that bitch Preet was here?" I asked.
"Yeah, well that reminds me. How does she know you and what's there in the pendrive?" She fired her questions related to Preet at me.
