Amaya's POV

Engulfed in his strong arms, inhaling his intoxicating smell, feeling his tight grip over my body, experiencing his care and love, I completely forgot that I was here for a so-called face off with him which not long before turned into a full-blown revelation session from his side. Where he was confessing all that I had always been blamed off and that I had lost all the hopes of seeing things the way it should have been.

"But how do you know that he was planning all this against me?" I asked.

"I didn't know that he was planning all this after all, I got to know about this when Danish was proved guilty in the court," he gave me a fresh information about the rape incident and I was shook to the core.

Neil could really stoop so low to take revenge from me and the worst make himself feel better after doing all this?

Like seriously?

"Arjun if I get to know what you're saying is misleading me,  then-"

"Three years Amaya, it took me three fucking years to gather all this fucking Shit. I'd never had to wait for more than three hours to get information about people dug up but here in our case, it took me three long years because I was searching for the root cause everywhere but not in my home and once I did that, mistakenly ofcourse, I found the real culprit and then it didn't take me long to call you back and present the evidences in front of you," he explained very patiently.

I could have never done that!

"So the one behind the gunshot thing and rape are the same?" I asked.

"Yes, he wanted to kill you," He replied and I noticed how meekly he said the word 'kill'. He was not very comfortable uttering those words.

"Neil?" I questioned.

He just nodded in the reply.

"Who gave him all the information? What's the conclusion of all this Arjun?" I asked and waited for him to start.

"Disha," he chuckled bitterly.
"I forgot that I didn't have to trust her ever, but time and again I kept entrusting her with all my private life stories and ofcourse all the information that I gathered and she mislead me in all the best ways possible and she ruined us," he completed and regret was all the more evident on his face.

So he shared all our secrets with Disha like I did with Kabir and Meera. I know he also must have gone through a lot.

Planning things against your wife needs a lot of effort after all!

Sorry but I can't help being sarcastic.

So what happened next?

"She was being guided by Neil. The real plotter. The man behind the action. Neil owns a law firm here, it used to work in a collaboration with our company and that's how he had access to all the confidential data and Disha used to get them for him," he inhaled a deep breath and leaned back on his couch.

Wait, Mahira's last location was a law firm owned by a renowned Lawyer...

Shit, Neil?

We stayed silent for like five minutes with my mind racing through the thoughts of Mahira being there at the snake's hole and if something god forbid happens to her, what will I do? She had asked for my help and I could do nothing. I believe I was the last person she'd called before her call went out of our reach.

Shit!

Arjun continued...

"I confided in her because I had no one. Due to my stupid move, I'd almost ruined my friendship with Parth. I shouldn't have done that to you, to him to mom, to dad, to our kids... I'm sorry," he was totally accusing himself for all sir misery and pain. His voice was deep and hoarse. I looked at him with a helpless face.
