"Oh and I forgot to tell you, there's a small party at Kabir and Zara's place tomorrow and they want you to come," I have no idea why and how I blurted this.

I was going to think about this.

Holy fuck!

"Are you sure about this invitation?" He asked.

I don't fucking know...

But anyway, it doesn't matter right?

He should also know about my life.
Kabir is right. I should consider letting him know us.

"Yeah I'm sure. You must come," I assured but then I looked at his face. He didn't seem very convinced with the idea so I added, "I mean that's totally upto you okay!"

He nodded and we chatted for some more time. This time it was about how he saw me on magazine covers and receiving awards and was super happy about it.

I didn't say anything over that and we bid each other 'good night' and retired to our rooms.

Strange.

Why didn't I ever look back in all these years?

It was like I stepped out of my house with a broken heart and literally never even wanted to look back.

I had two babies to take care of. I had to build a career. I had just a bunch of people having my back for which I will always consider myself really lucky.

I never even had a look at what my family back home was doing. I never cared about Arjun or anyone.

I had dreams that used to transport me back to those awful days and then I was brought back with a bang. The day begins. No time to relax. Kids, office, gatherings, parties, home...there were so many things I was involved in. I never got time to ponder on those dreams or cry over thoughts except a few times when I was all alone and had a weird urge to go back and sort everything out because things felt out of control.

I didn't even realise when those six years just sped past me and I lived all those years, maybe in pain of being shunned by everyone whom I cared about but busy and so occupied by everything that they seemed nothing in front of my new formed family.

Life goes on and we keep going on our paths with the memories and experiences of our past.

Everything forms a circle after so many years.

I closed my eyes thinking about this and fell into a deep slumber.

Next morning

I woke up a bit late and when I rushed out of the room to check if Ahaana and Aryan were awake, I saw them dressed for school and playing with Arjun.

I didn't enter the room and rushed back to get dressed. I had an important shoot today and I had to wind it up before five in the afternoon.

I went downstairs and saw them seated in the dining room.

"Mom dadda helped us get ready today," Ahaana excitedly spoke.

"Wow. Good work Arjun," I got seated on the table and Pyali served the breakfast.

"They are so easy to handle," Arjun took a bite of his pancake and said.

I chuckled sarcastically and said, "Ofcourse... just wait and watch,"

He mouthed an 'okay' and continued eating.

"Mom, dadda will pick us from school today. Don't tell Aahil mamu (mother's brother) to come," Ahaana said and I looked at Arjun again.

"Yeah we are going out today. I thought-"
