"Sometimes the worst place you can be is in your own head."

"You're mine. Don't you ever forget that," Jay groaned in Amara's ear as he thrusted into her.

Amara's fingernails dug into the palms of her bound hands as tears streamed down her cheeks.

"You Love me?" He leaned up to look at her face.

Amara turned her head to the side, not wanting to look into the eyes of the man who was causing her so much pain.

Jay grabbed her face, digging his fingernails into her, "I asked you do you fucking love me."

Amara nodded as best she could due to his hand still holding her face.

"Say it."

"I love you." She choked out.

"Again!" He ordered as he thrusted into her harder.

"I love you." Amara cried, her heart breaking.

"I love you too, baby. I fucking love you too." Jay bit Amara's shoulder as he came inside of her.

"You'll always be mine, whether you like it or not."

Amara's eyes shot open as she inhaled a deep breath and exhaled loud sob. Her body was covered in sweat making her clothes stick to her.

She started scratching at her skin, wanting to get the feeling of Jay's body off of hers. Her cries filled the room as she continued to scratch, the feeling not going away. Blood and skin collected under her fingernails from the excessive scratching.

The door slammed against the wall as Joshua ran over to Amara after hearing her cries from the next room.

"Amara! Amara!" Joshua stood in front of her. He didn't know what to do. He didn't want to grab her and cause her to freak out even more, but he also didn't want to let her to continue to scrape the skin off of her arms and legs.

He reached out slowly to grab ahold of her hands. When he did, her eyes snapped up to his. In them, he saw nothing but pure terror.

"Amara, sweetheart. You're okay. You're safe." He knew what she was so upset about. He knew his girl.

She continued to stare into his eyes, not once blinking. This continued for about a minute before another loud sob escaped her mouth.

Josh pulled her into his arms, not caring that his clothes were getting stained with the blood that continued to leak from her.

Amara continued to cry, finally releasing the pain she has been holding onto for so long.

Joshua lifted her up, wrapping we legs around his waist as he carried her into the bathroom. He turned on the shower. Turning to look at Amara, he looked to make sure it was okay he removed her clothes. She just stared at him.

Sitting her down on the sink, he stepped back slightly so he could carefully remove her shirt. Then he moved onto taking her pants off. Once she was undressed, he stepped into the shower with her, once again, not caring that his clothes were getting wet. He sat in the shower with her and she cried, and cried, and cried. Her sobs getting louder until she couldn't cry anymore.

Cries were replaced by hiccups that were soon replaced by silence.

Silence is the most powerful scream.
