To say Amara was nervous/ exited for the photoshoot would be an understatement. She woke up at 8 in the morning to get what she would need and have it in easy reach because having something go wrong, would be horrible. It might sound kinda dramatic but that's how Amara was feeling. She attempted to dress as cutely and comfortably as she could,which came out okay.

It was around 11:15 when Amara finished getting the equipment and herself ready. She still hadn't ate anything so she ate some Captain Crunch, which was her favorite, and a banana. Once Amara finished, she cleaned up and sat on the couch and started to watch an episode of Shameless. She was interrupted by the sound of little hands knocking on the door.

"MARA! It's me Lucaaaaa. Let me in!!" Luca yelled from the front porch. Amara smiled and tried to jump over the back of the couch, tripping and falling in the process. She picked herself up and smiled as she opened the door. She picked Luca up, started tickling his stomach, to which he started squealing and squirming in her arms. Once he calmed down, she tried to place him back on the ground, but he wrapped his arms tighter around her neck, not wanting to get down. Amara let him sit on her hip as she kept one arm around his waist to ensure that he didn't fall. She looked up, and Joshua was walking from his car with a bag in his hand.

"Hey." Amara said, suddenly a little shy, which wasn't normal because she was usually a confident person.

"Hey." Joshua responded and pulled Amara, and Luca, into a hug. Amara blinked in surprise and wrapped her free arm around his waist. She could feel the muscles in his back, and smell his cologne. Her mind started to wander to places that weren't exactly appropriate. She was broken out of her trance by Luca wiggling around.

"Daddy, move. Too hot." He said while using his little hands to push at Joshua's chest. Joshua chuckled as he took a few steps back. Amara then realized that there were still standing on the porch.

"Come on in. You can sit the bag anywhere." She said while stepping aside so he could walk in. Joshua stepped in, and sat his bag by the door. He turned to Luca to grab him from Amara, but Luca, once again, tightened his grip on Amara's neck, reluctant to leave. Joshua just shook his head and smiled.

"Are you ready to take some pictures?" Amara asked Luca while playing with his short hair. He nodded profusely, and started wiggling his legs, signaling that he wanted to get down. Amara set him down. Luca started to strike several random poses, making Amara and Joshua break into laughter.

"You're absolutely adorable," Amara said as she walked to one of the tables, grabbing her Canon EOS 1200D. "We can go outside, since it's a nice day." She continued once she had what she needed.

"That's fine." Joshua said. He grabbed Luca, who was still going the weirdest of poses, and walked him to the door. He opened it and gestured for Amara to go first, to which she said thanks.

They were walking down the street when Luca saw a skateboard on the side of a building. He snatched his hand from his dad and ran over to the board. He attempted to get on it while laughing. Joshua, who couldn't help but smile also, quickly grabbed him and helped him stabilize himself. Amara decided it was a great moment to take a picture.

"Mara, look." Luca exclaimed as he rolled back and forth on the skateboard, thinking he was pushing himself when in all actuality, Joshua was pushing the board from behind.

"You're amazing, oh my gosh!" Amara said dramatically, while placing her hand over the mouth, to make it look like she was surprised. Luca started smiling and laughing. Joshua lifted Luca off the board and gave him a quarter to distract him, which was that easy, so he could put the board back. Amara took another picture.

Mother Nature decided to make herself known as a few drops of rain started to fall from the sky, which was cloud free less than 5 minutes ago. Luca screamed in laughter as the rain hit him in the head. Joshua picked him up and grabbed Amara's hand, once again takin her by surprise, as they ran back to Amara's house. By the time they got back, they were slightly soaked.

"Is there a bathroom we can change in?" Joshua asked as he grabbed a pair of clothes for Luca and himself from the bag he brought.

"Yeah, it's down that hall. The first door on your right." Amara responded as she took two towels  from the closet by the front door and handed it to him, while grabbing one for herself and her camera.

While Luca and Joshua were in the bathroom, Amara went to her room after drying her camera, and dried herself off, changing into the first thing she could grab, which happened to be some sweats and a Spongebob sweatshirt. She walked back downstairs. Joshua and Luca were sitting on the couch. The rain was pounding down on the house and it was lightning and thundering like crazy.

"Are you going out in this?" Amara asked while pointing to the rain outside.

"Most likely not. Is it okay if we stay here until it slows down?" Joshua asked.

"Yeah, absolutely. We could watch a movie and eat pizza. You like pizza, buddy?" Amara asked Luca, who nodded so fast, you would think his head was going to fall off. Amara smiled at him, then walked into the kitchen and grabbed a sausage pizza out the freezer, popping it into the oven and setting a timer for 15 minutes. She walked back into the living room.

"What movie do you guys want to watch?" She asked while switching on the television.

"Transformers!" Luca yelled out before Joshua could even open his mouth to answer.

"Transformers, it is then." Joshua said, knowing not to argue with Luca when it came to Transformers. Amara chuckled and typed Transformers into the search box on the tv. She clicked on the first movie. As she sat down on the couch, Luca climbed into her lap.

"Aww, buddy. I'm lonely now." Joshua joked.

"Sit next to me and Mara." Luca responded, not taking his eyes off the movie. Joshua scooted over a little and was right next to them. They watched the movie about 10 minutes in before Amara went to get the pizza from the oven. She cut it, then brought it back on paper plates. Luca sat in between her and Joshua as he ate his pizza.

Once they were finished, Amara threw the plates away and sat back down. Luca, once again, climbed into her lap. They continued to watch the movie. About 3/4 way through the movie, Joshua looked over and saw that both Amara and Luca were asleep. Luca had turned around and was straddling Amara, his head lying in her chest. Amara had her arms wrapped around Luca ,and was leaning her head on the side of the couch. He smiled at the sight of this son cuddled into the dark-skinned beauty. Grabbing the large throw blanket from the end of the couch, he put it over them before placing some on himself, eventually falling asleep.

The pictures Amara took were the "photoshoot" not really a photoshoot because Mother Nature ruined it. But since they didn't finish, that means more time together, right?!
