Ryland has been having a rough week and a half. He still hasn't gotten any scent from Luna, absolutely nothing, but he refused to give up. Ryland's parents ultimately found out and are now on Ryland's case about it 24/7, he doesn't mind though, he deserves it.

He's been lying through his teeth to the school, his parents backing him up. Ryland has been telling teachers that Luna overseas with her parents since practically the whole school knows that Luna's parents are never home, they would believe him. This lie, however, would only last for so long, because weeks will become months, and with time comes suspicion. He needed to think of a plan, and soon.

It was now after school on a Friday, a day of the week Ryland would usually look forward to since he would usually have his almost fixed sleepover at Luna's, now he can't, and it left him with a heavy heart. He missed her, he missed her a lot. They were the power duo, they did everything together, and without his partner in crime (almost literally), he felt more alone than ever.

He made his way home alone, music blasting from his headphones, not bothering to look up. Ryland made it home and immediately dropped his bag off, took out his headphones, and went straight back out the door, to go back to the woods one last time to search, he knows he will most likely find nothing, but to him, it's worth a shot.

Ryland found himself in front of the woods, a sudden rush of discouragement running through him. This was a stupid idea, he wouldn't pick up anything and he knew it. He sighed, not wanting to check the woods anymore, knowing it would be pointless. Ryland was about to turn away when he heard a voice.

"Hey kid, what are you doing here?"

Ryland snapped his head to a policeman who wore a scowl and was pushed up against a nearby tree. A new scent then flooded his nose, and it made his heart spike in anger.

Ryland growled at the man feeling his eyes now flash a quick amber. The man's scowl turned into a smirk.

"What's a kid like you doing at a place like this." The man hissed, his body language changing into one of threat.

Before Ryland could open his mouth, there was a hand placed on his shoulder. Without even turning around, he knew it was his older brother Blake. Ryland was a little baffled that his older brother, who was supposed to be studying away at an engineering school, was standing beside him.

Ryland's brother had the same dark curly hair he did but instead of dark eyes like him, Blake had grey-blue eyes, adding intensity to his overall look.

"I'd leave if I were you." Blake sneered, his eyes narrowing.

The man looked surprised, he could tell that he was messing with someone very important in Ryland's pack.

"Leave. Now." Blake demanded once more, his eyes flashing a gold.

The man didn't need to be told twice, he immediately turned and ran away, into the woods.

Ryland pushed his brother's hand off of him and turned to face him.

"What are you doing here?" Ryland questioned, not bothering with saying 'hello' or 'how are you'.

"Rude, I was expecting more than just that," Blake replied with a lopsided smile.

"Yeah, yeah. Hey Blake! How are you? How's school going? I hope everything is great!" Ryland mocked, not feeling as if this was a good time for Blake to be home.

Blake rolled his eyes and then all of a sudden turned serious.

"Mom and dad told me about you and Luna's little excursion," Blake started, feeling bitter about the whole situation, "and I'm here to help you find her."

"I can do it by myself, thanks." Ryland huffed, turning away from his brother and started to walk away from him.

"I know who has her. It's just a matter of finding them." Blake called out after Ryland.

This caused Ryland to stop and to turn around.

"Who has her?" Ryland asked, walking back to where his brother stood, suddenly interested in the situation.

"There is 7 of them, and they call themselves the Bangtan Boys," Blake said recalling details.

"This is great! We can find her!" Ryland exclaimed, getting excited at the news.

"Well, we have more than what we started with, they're really smart so it might be a bit more of a challenge than we think," Blake explained, not wanting to immediately dampen Ryland's excitement.

"Well, lucky for me, I know their scent, and kind of their faces too," Ryland said, a smirk settling on his face.

"Wow, I'm impressed. Mom and dad will be too." Blake said with genuine surprise, not expecting that his younger and slightly dense had been able to do what he had been trying to do for years.

Ryland felt pride swell up in his chest, knowing his older brother rarely praised him, they've always kind of had a rocky relationship, one never fully accepting the other.

"Don't worry Ry, you'll get Luna back, and we will make sure they never get her or anyone ever again. We will find them and kill them, together," Blake said, working out a plan of his own in his head.

Little did the two brothers know, that someone had heard everything they had been talking about.
