Luna felt her body wake up to the sound of shuffling down the hallway. She scrunched her eyes and fluttered them open only to be met with a dark living room and became acutely aware of the arms that were still holding her under the blanket and how her head was still pressed into Jimin's chest. Luna's mouth felt dry and her throat felt achy, signs that her body needed water. The pain in her neck was throbbing, almost begging to be tamed, but Luna was more concerned with getting hydrated, letting the sharp throbbing continue. Gently, she removed Jimin's arms from off of her to scurry into the kitchen but a hand wrapped itself around her wrist, causing her to jump in her barely conscious state.
"Why are you up?" Jimin said groggily, voice rough from being woken up.
His dark hair was all ruffled in the back and tufts of it were standing a bit awkwardly. His face was puffy with sleep and his lips were jutted out with droopy eyes to complete the scene. Luna gave him a once-over before snapping back into reality.
Luna pressed a sleepy finger to her lips signaling him to be quieter since she didn't anyone else to wake up, "water," was all she whispered back removing his hand from around her wrist when she got a short hum in response, head flopping back down on the cushions.
This time, a little more awake now (but barely), she stumbled her way into the kitchen where the only light was from the coffee machine; which didn't provide much light at all. Grabbing a plastic cup from the cabinet next to the fridge and placing it on the counter, she opened the refrigerator to be blinded by the light. With eyes screwed shut, she felt for the water pitcher and closed the fridge silently. Luna poured the water into the cup and managed to spill some of it on the counter for being careless. She cleaned up her mess and put the water pitcher back in the fridge to then lean her back against the counter with her head resting on the wall to guzzle it down, not realizing how hot her skin felt despite having chills running down her body until this moment. There was some more shuffling that Luna heard and then some whispering accompanied with it making her pause mid-sip, confusion settling in her. It wasn't until she set the voices to faces that she felt some sort of clarity.
In strolled Jin, Namjoon, and Yoongi, all wearing some casual clothes and wrapped in long coats; Namjoon even had a backpack and hat on. With them stood a sleepy Hoseok, who was in a flannel pajama set and was rubbing his eyes tiredly while yawning as Jin was explaining something to him.
"Make sure you take her temperature and make sure she eats plain food, nothing too crazy," Jin paused for a second before his face lit up with another thought, "oh! Make sure she had lots of water too, water is always good to flush out everything,"
Luna stared in sleepy amusement as Jin was rambling off things to do and Hoseok stood there with almost a blank expression nodding his head.
"I got it hyung, now please," Hoseok whined, not giving Jin another chance to keep talking, "let me go back to bed?"
Jin rolled his eyes and waved his hand dramatically, directing Hoseok to go back to bed, and he didn't hesitate to bolt back to his room. The remaining three gave him one last final look before they turned around and jumped at Luna's presence.
"How long?" Namjoon asked her, eyebrow quipped with a small smile.
She assumed that he meant how long she had been standing there so she replied with, "a couple of minutes, I wanted water," she swished the liquid around in the cup with a lazy smile, which they all returned.
Jin walked toward her and then rested a hand on her forehead, only to frown, "you still have your fever. Make sure to get lots of rest ok? And take care of your neck, put a new band-aid on it and everything, yeah?"
