The first thing Luna felt was discomfort.
She was all wrapped up in Hoseok's blankets as he laid next to her. Blissfully asleep and unaware of the small frustrated sounds that Luna was letting out as she untangled herself from the blanket cocoon. She sat up and peered at Hoseok's big digital clock which read 4:12 am. Luna let out an annoyed puff of breath; she was tired, and she knew she was tired but this ugly feeling in her stomach was preventing her from sleeping peacefully like Hoseok.
She swung her feet over the side of the bed and ventured out from the bedroom, making sure to close the door quietly as she left. She pressed her ear to her bedroom's door where she couldn't hear anything out of the ordinary; signaling that Ryland was still asleep, easing only a little bit of the ugly feeling. Luna let out the breath she didn't know she was holding and made her way to the dim and kitchen, thinking that some water would ease her nerves and hopefully bring sleep to her.
Luna poured herself a glass of water and drank it rather quickly, it landing in her stomach to slosh around a bit since she drank too much too fast. The water left her mouth cold and she felt exactly the same, just full of water. She put the glass into the sink and wandered into the living room. The second she sat down and relaxed against the cushions, she let her mind reel. Her thoughts immediately brought up Ryland and his situation and it made her stomach churn. She wanted him to be okay, she didn't want him to get hurt. It was tricky, what could she do? Luna was at a loss, confused and discouraged as to where to turn next. Then she thought about Ryland's poor parents and it made her tear up, enough to wipe at her eyes and take a shaky deep breath in. His parents were like her parents. She considered them that anyway since her's were never around and still aren't. It got her thinking about them. Her real parents. They were probably still halfway across the globe not caring what Luna was getting herself into. God, if they only knew half of it. She pushed the thought from her mind, knowing that she was the last thing on their minds anyway.
Luna could feel her eyes grow a bit heavier, but it wasn't enough to go back to sleep. She groaned out into a nearby pillow out of frustration. Luna placed the pillow down and began to get a little moody for the fact that she was unable to sleep, her anxiety making it too hard. Then there was to sets of footsteps, which made Luna turn her head to the hallway. There was a sleepy Jimin and a sleepy Taehyung both looking like they had just woken up since their eyes were half-lidded and their hair was a mess.
"What are you doing up? I thought you went to sleep with Hobi hyung?" Taehyung's voice was scratchy and sleepy as he made his way over to sit next to Luna.
"Yeah, what are you doing silly?" Jimin joined Taehyung on sitting on Luna's other side and petting her head.
"Can't sleep," she pouted, looking at both of them.
"Now, why's that, hm?" Taehyung asked her, pushing some hair behind her ear endearingly, his hand then moving to rub up and down her back, making Luna sway a little with the movements.
"Just worried about everything I guess," Luna mumbled, her gaze falling to her feet.
"We told you not to worry about it Luna, everything will work itself out," Jimin reasoned once more, making Luna turn to look at him.
"Don't put so much pressure on yourself, you have all of us to rely on. We are more than happy to help you, you know we love you," Taehyung smiled, making Luna feel better, a little warm but in a good way.
"Well I love you guys too, I hope you know that," Luna revealed, her lips were pulled into a small smile, happy that she could tell them how she felt.
"Of course we know, it's just nice to hear sometimes," Jimin joked, making Luna shove him lightly with a silent laugh.
"I'll make sure to say it more often then," Luna sighed, now distracted from the ugly feeling and focusing on the new good one.
