CHAPTER 15

"What why can't I go? This is not fair. She had something to do with this didn't she? She is trying to stop me from being a part of this family." I said standing up slamming my hands down on the dining room table.

"Calm your lil ass down it is nothing like that. We just need to go check this man out. He might not be who we thought he was."

"I thought that you knew him." I said to him confusedly.

"No Serenity I said that I have talked to him. I only know Quadd I haven't met this man Cadillac that's why I am bringing the boys with me tonight. Don't worry you will have your chance I promise you that."

I didn't like what I was hearing but knew not push him any farther. I just knew that my mom had something to do with this. I was thinking to myself as my dad explain to my brothers what they were to do when they arrived to see Cadillac. Who was this man anyways I wondered as I sat listen attentively to what my dad was saying to my brothers. I could tell the way that Angelo was looking at MJ that he was pissed. He suddenly jumps up from his chair, knocking it over in the process and stormed out of the dining room.

"Well what the hell is his problem. Why he is running off crying like a little baby." MJ asked laughing.

"He will be alright we have bigger things to worry about. Because if we don't pull this off I don't know how this family would survive. Your mother and I are getting to old to continue in this business that's why we are trying to bring ya'll youngins in to keep the money rolling. Angelo will be alright."

I heard him telling my brothers as I went in search of Angelo. I found him in his room about to put on his headphones and block us out by listening to T.I. He looked up at me as I walked into his room and wasn't surprised of how mad he really was. I knew how I felt to be left out of things around here. I sat on the bed next to him and he placed his headphone on the nightstand.

"What did you always tell me Angelo?" I asked him as I gazed into his eyes.

"I don't know what you are talking about Renity and to tell you the truth I really don't feel like talking right now."

"You always told me that we have to wait our turn. And that we get our chance when we need it so if we have to wait use that time to better yourself. Or was that lies that you were telling me when I came to you whining about me not getting to go with you and dad?"

"I'm not whining its just soon as MJ comes home he already out on a run with them. You were younger when he was home and didn't notice the way that mom favorited him. You will see though trust me."

"And what do that have to do with you? You should be using this time to better your skills. I mean make them regret that they left you out." I said to him.

"You know what you're right man. Fuck them. Yeah, I am going to make them regret for always picking him over me. See this is why I love you."

"I love you too Angelo come on let's go train some." I said getting up from his bed.

"No, you not understanding me Serenity. I love you and I am not talking about as my sister. I am falling in love with you Renity." He said walking towards me and stopping in front of me.

"You don't know how long I have wanted to do this." he grabbed me and pulled me into him.

The smell of his cologne made my head start to spin. Damn he smelled so good. Placing his hands to the side of my face he pulled me in and placed his lips against mine. The feeling of our lips connecting sent shivers down my spine. His tongue parting my mouth opened brought me to reality what the hell was I doing? This is my brother kissing me I thought to myself as I pushed Angelo off me.

"What the fuck are you doing Angelo? I am your sister man you can't be kissing me like that what the hell is wrong with you?" I said backing up from him.

"Listen Renity I am sorry I should have told you first but you're not my sister. I mean yeah you are my sister just not by blood. Yore adopted Serenity."
