The next morning everyone was asking wolf about Zella, all he said was "she is just sick."How could he tell the truth? His Father almost killed his daughter... everything has been different since his mom died... everything changed.
"Are you sure she is sick?" Ray asked.
"Yeah, she has a cold." He said quickly after her.
Later that day Zella showed up to school.
She kept her head down as she were invisible, Zella started to clean out her locker.
"What are you doing?" Wolf asked.
"Leaving." She replied.
"Leaving where?" He asked.
"The king wanted a Gatekeeper to do the experiment on." She responded.
Wolf stood next to her, "Why you?" He asked with a puzzled look on his face.
She turned to him with an annoyed look on her face, "You have a lot of questions today. Because he needs a girl." She said with a 'leave me alone' tone in her voice.
"When do you leave?" Wolf asked.
She didn't reply, Wolf looked at her, she looked stressed.
She took her things and started to walk to the front door of the building.
"Wait!" Wolf yelled.
She didn't look back. She just walked faster.
As she was leaving Wolf noticed Zåne was there, he was going to take her somewhere.
Wolf ran to them, Zåne looked back and smiled "I will be back soon."
Wolf nodded and said goodbye to Zella
"Bye sister, I'll miss you." He said in a sad voice. She didn't reply or look at him.

It's been 2 months now... father is in worse condition than before. Zåne and I left the house and moved into a 4 bedroom apartment, Ōkami was chosen as a test subject like Zella... he was taken soon after we moved in.
"When is Zella coming back?" Wolf said as he picked at his dinner.
"She isn't coming back." Zåne replied.
Wolf looked up with a surprised look "Why?" He asked.
Zåne stood up, he pushed in the chair and started to do the dishes.
"Why?" Wolf asked again with a louder tone.
"Because." He answered.
Wolf looked at him with an annoyed face.
"Is this a serious answer?" Wolf asked.
Zåne turned his head away from wolf, "The king killed her." He said with an angry tone.
Wolf stood up, the tears ran down from his face, Wolf ran to his room and slammed the door.
