Lost In Time

Goodbye Raziel

Ike awoke earlier than everyone, the sun was not up yet, he couldn't sleep. Not after what happened the previous night, he sat up in the bed, "Arrangement.." he said out loud to himself. Then it hit him, it wasn't just an arrangement.

Ike got up and quickly got on his clothes, he ran to Lucca's tent, he wasn't there.

"I'm too late." He said out loud. "Too late for what?" King North asked, Ike turned around to see her standing behind him, he took a step back, "Sorry, I thought no one was here." He said, he noticed that she was leaning to her right side, he looked at her, she was looking at the ground.

"Is he gone?" She asked with a quiet tone in her voice.

"Yeah." Ike said, he moved aside. (He should have been back by now.) she thought.

She looked up at him, "I need you to go and find Lucca, I sent him to the TimeKeeper world to get supplies, he should have been back by now." King North said, she started to walk away, "Go now." She said, she lifted up one hand, implying as a wave goodbye.

Ike went back to his tent, he got some supplies then flew off towards the World.

When he got there it was night in their time zone, everyone was asleep.

Ike knocked on the front door. Seishin used his magic to open the door, he was sitting by a lamp, he was reading a large black book on a sofa, he was almost asleep.

"Hey, have you seen Lucca?" Ike asked Seishin, Seishin looked up at him.

"Yeah... I um.. I closed the.. um.. the door on... him earlier." He said, he looked tired, "Thanks, I'll leave now." Ike said, he closed the door and started to walk towards the portal, but an open window caught his eye.

He saw Raziel sitting on the window, she was looking at the sky, she was lost in her thoughts.

"Hey Raziel!" Ike yelled, Raziel looked down at him, "What?" She replied.

"Do..." he stopped himself. He flew up to where she was, Lucca was asleep with Alva in the bed, "Raziel." He started to speak, "Why is Lucca with you?" He asked, he leaned against the wall and looked at her, she looked older than before, she looked different.                       

Raziel sighed, "What's going on?" She asked, she had a worried tone in her voice but her facial expression didn't change.

"I don't know if I'm right, I hope not but I think Lucca is engaged to someone else." He said, Raziel looked a bit bitrade and shocked, she said something under her breath.

"Well the King said he had an Arrangement and he has to become king soon, it's not like he was supposed to be king by himself. His father probably planned an arrangement marriage for him." Ike explained, "He has to come with me, it's his duty to fulfill his role in the kingdom."

Raziel nodded, she looked at Lucca, she got up and woke him up, he opened his bright golden eyes and smiled, he touched her cheek and kissed her softly. "Is It morning already?" He asked her, then he noticed Ike.

He sat up in the bed, "Prince Lucca, by the order of the King, you shall go back with me." He paused, he moved back his coat to show his bow, "Or I will take you by force." He said, his eyes carefully watched their movements.

Lucca sighed, "So you know about it." He said with a sorrowful face, he looked at Raziel, she looked away.

"I'll start from the beginning, to explain to you." Lucca said, Ike leaned in the listen, Raziel sat on a chair, she looked away but she was still listening.

Lucca thought for a second, then began to explain, "When i was born I was given a birth pledge to another kingdom, it's like an arrangement marriage but you don't know the person you are going to marry, it's all for making the two kingdoms one and more powerful. When I was younger I didn't mind getting married to someone I didn't know, I really didn't care.

But then I met you, Raziel, you showed me what true love is, real love, I couldn't bare the thought of leaving you, yesterday I was supposed to end it and leave, but I couldn't. Now we are here, I messed up, I should have never went after you, I'm sorry for lying to you. I know you will never forgive me, that's fine, I don't deserve you. I know know that." Lucca stopped talking, he stood up and walked to the window, he looked back at Raziel.

"Sorry, I really do love you but I have to go, like Ike said, my duty is to my kingdom." Lucca said, Raziel walked over to him and stood behind him, he turned around.

Raziel slapped him across the face, making a loud sound.

Lucca held his face in shock. Tears came to his eyes. "Goodbye." He said, Ike took him away.

Raziel watched as they went to the portal and left, Alva got up and rubbed against her leg, she picked up the young cat, she held Alva close to her, "Goodbye Lucca.." she whispered, she didn't cry but she felt like she was holding back a wave of emotions, (Why would he lie to me?) she thought, she felt betrayed and annoyed yet sorrow filled her heart.

Raziel looked back to the wilted rose on her desk, another petal fell off.

"Cassiel was right, he really did want to break my heart." Raziel said to Alva, Alva looked up at her and meowed.

"I knew you would agree." She replied to his meow.

-Meanwhile-

Lucca was brought to the Light kingdom where he met prince light, they went off into the Western kingdom, Lucca was scheduled to get married in 4 days, though he didn't know the bride's name he heard that she was beautiful and an angel.

Lucca and Prince Light stayed in a room together, Awaiting for the day of the wedding.
