Lost In Time

Where is the Princess?!

Ghost awoke in a cold sweat, "I must apologize, I was so stupid." He said to himself, the cold wind from outside swept the room, Ghost stood up and started to walk towards the door.

"Please don't leave me." A small voice said from the blankets.

"I'll be back my love, don't worry." He replied, a figure stood up and pulled his hand.

"But papa, I don't want to be alone." A little girl said, her small hands were trembling.

Ghost kneeled down, "you will be ok, just close your eyes and go back to sleep." He said, he picked her up and put her back into the bed.

She held out her hands, "don't leave me alone in the dark." She said as she looked at him.

Ghost picked her up again, "fine, but you better behave." He replied.

She smiled and hugged him, she rested her head on his chest.  "I love you papa." She said.

"I love you too." He said back, they went out of the room, the long dark hallway was unusually quiet that night.

Ghost went down the long staircase, he heard a loud voice, it sounded like an argument.

He got closer to the sounds, it was coming from the throne room.

"Where is Ivy?!" A voice yelled.

"I don't care, she is practically an adult now. She is capable of her own actions." King Light replied carelessly.

"You need to be a better father!" A woman's voice said in anger, a figure of a woman was standing by the throne.

"You need to be a better mother." King Light replied, he got off from the throne, he stood next to the figure.

"So I haven't been around in awhile, it doesn't matter. I have been busy doing your work." She replied.

King light took her hand and spun her around.

Ghost stepped closer to look.

"I missed you my Queen." He said, he kissed her softly.

She looked at him and smiled, they held each other closely.

A guard came in from the back entrance, she coughed so they could hear her.

King Light moved away from the Queen.

"We know who the princess went with, it's just a matter of time before we find her." The guardreplied.

"Good work, you may leave." Queen Light said.

When the guard left King Light walked over to the Queen, "We will find her, don't worry." King Light said as he took her hand.

She wiped her eyes, "I hope so." She replied, she hugged him.

Ghost backed away from the door, he bumped into Laine.

"Listening to the King and Queen i see..." Laine said, he had on full armor, his sword was by his side.

"Where are you going?" Ghost asked

Laine took him back to his room, "Get dressed, we have to find the princess before tomorrow." Laine said, he looked down to see the sleeping girl in Ghost's arms.

Laine signed. "Fine, you may bring the child, but you have to watch it." Laine said, he started to walk away, "meet me at the entrance." He called out.

Ghost closed the door, he set the child down, "Are you leaving papa?" She asked with a sad face.

"Get dressed, I'm taking you with me." Ghost said.
