The guys and I were all out camping and I had no internet for four days. ugh. whatever, I had the guys I could talk to. We rented a cabin from some people who were out of town so Vic, Tony, and I shared a room and Mike and Jaime shared the other room. Vic and Tony thought it was best since they knew about the scars and all.
The guys went to go check out the river that was right by us and I stayed at the cabin.
My phone went off playing, "Kissing in cars". I answered it on the third ring, "Hello?"
"Hello. Is this Cheyenne?" The voice was a man's.
"Yes. What can I do for you?"
"Alright so I understand that you believe your friend Brittany is gone. Correct?"
"Yeah.. She texted me saying that she was going to kill herself."
"Okay... Well I would like to inform you that she is very much alive."
"Wait... She's what? It took you how long to tell me this?"
"I'm sorry miss but her mother put her into our mental institute. We were not allowed to tell anybody but she kept pleading and begging fir is to let you know. I finally got the okay from my boss."
"Okay. Well thank you very much. I must be going, but I appreciate you telling me this"
"Of course. Have a wonderful day." He hung up.
I fell onto the bed I shared, picking at my cuts that weren't healed yet, making them bleed again.
The door flew open and Jaime stood there, smiling. His smile fell when his eyes landing on my bleeding wrist. As quickly as he could, he closed the door and ran over to me, grabbing my wrist lightly, "Why...? I thought you were happy.."
My bangs fell in front of my eyes as tears fell down them, "I am happy.. I'm just confused Jamie.."
He moved my bangs and stared into my eyes, "Why are you confused..?"
"Brittany.. She's in a mental institute. She isn't dead."
His eyes widened, "At least she's alive right?"
I bit my lip, looking to the side, "Yeah.."
He took his hand and turned my head back to him. He was smiling a beautiful smile, "Come on. Let's get you cleaned up."
He moved his hand from my wrist to holding my hand, causing me to blush. He lead me to the bathroom, rinsed off my cuts, and placed a bandage on them. Slowly he pulled his hoodie off and slipped it over my head, "Thanks Jaime."
He smiled down at me and pulled me out of the bathroom, "So let me guess. Mike doesn't know?" I nodded my head, "I won't tell him, promise."
I smiled up at him just as the guys walked in. Mike looked at me and ran over, hugging me, "Tony was picking on me!"
I giggled, hugging him back, "Tony! How dare you."
We all laughed and decided to get some sleep. Tomorrow we would go to the river and tube down it. I was pretty scared, but Mike said he would go with me.
