Aaron and his sons Consecrated

(Exodus 29:1-46)

[1] "To consecrate them as priests in My service, take one young bull and two unblemished rams,

[2] along with unleavened bread, unleavened cakes mixed with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, made from wheat flour.

[3] Place them all in a single basket and present them in the basket, alongside the bull and the two rams.

[4] "Bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting and wash them with water.

[5] Then, dress Aaron in the tunic, the robe of the ephod, the ephod itself, and the breastplate, securing it with the skillfully woven band of the ephod.

[6] Place the turban on his head and the sacred diadem on the turban.

[7] Take the anointing oil, pour it on his head, and anoint him.

[8] Next, bring his sons and clothe them with tunics.

[9] Tie sashes around Aaron and his sons, and put caps on them. The priesthood is to be their perpetual right. Thus, you shall ordain Aaron and his sons.

[10] "Finally, bring the bull to the front of the Tent of Meeting, and let Aaron and his sons lay their hands on its head.

[11]Then, you must slaughter the bull before the Lord at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.

[12]Take some of the bull's blood and apply it to the horns of the altar with your finger, then pour out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar.

[13]Remove all the fat covering the entrails, the fatty lobe attached to the liver, and both kidneys with the fat on them, and burn them on the altar.

[14]However, the flesh of the bull, its skin, and its offal, you must burn outside the camp; it is a sin offering.

[15]"Moreover, you are to take one ram, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on the ram's head.

[16]You must kill the ram, take its blood, and sprinkle it around the altar.
